VIBES WEB3 🕸️ MUSIC 🎶 COMPETITION WEEK 19, FREEDOM BY AKON
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=undisputedrar/kuxuomnk Hello Everyone Welcome to Vibes web3 music competition week 19, I'm @undisputedrar and my presentation for this week is Freedom by Akon Thank you all as you listen. The song, "Freedom," resonates with me on so many levels, it gives me the urge to embrace the essence and pursuit of freedom. The powerful lyrics by Akon, coupled with a soulful melody, gives me a different experience that lingers long after the song ends each time I listen to it. It delves into my struggles and aspirations, touching upon my desire for self-expression. We are all striving for a life from limitations but societal pressures and the quest for freedom keep reminding me that it's not just about external constraints but also internal battles. The urge to be free is something we do not get to give up on, despite so many challenges and setbacks, the consistent pursuit of freedom and refusing to be shackled by circumstances serves as a beacon of hope, which inspires me to persevere despite trials and tribulations. Freedom is more than just a song: It tells us to live boldly and authentically, to break free from the chains that bind us, and to embrace the boundless possibilities that await us. It reminds us that the journey is always worth it, though it may not be smooth, but we always get there eventually. Let the message in this beautiful work of art stick with you as you keep working towards what is rightfully yours. LYRICS Everything I have, everything I own All my mistakes man, you already know I wanna be free, I wanna be free From Senegal, West Africa To St. Louis, Missouri Thanks to Katherine Dunham For giving my pops his glory He came down with his drum And a dream to change the world In a free uplifting world And that's all he ever want Mom came a little after Gave birth to my brother Then all of the pressure Made 'em fight one another See the pain would never last Did the best with what they had He knew the world was out for grabs And he searched to find his Freedom Freedom Freedom Freedom Everything I have, everything I own All my mistakes man, you already know I wanna be free, I wanna be free So I search to find my Freedom Freedom Freedom Freedom Everything I have, everything I own All my mistakes girl, you already know I wanna be free, I wanna be free, yeah As a kid I never knew I'd have to hustle just to make it through So I found myself skipping school 'Cause the girls don't think I'm cool And because of that I didn't care Whether or not I went to jail I just wanna be treated fair 'Cause that's all I ever knew Telling me I need to slow down 'Cause everybody in the whole town 'Cause they know how I get down Foreigner from another town Can you believe we still around? AFRI-TUNES WEEK 127, AJE BY JAYWON AND BARRY JAY
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=undisputedrar/mbdefzcs AFRITUNES WEEK 127 I'm @undisputedrar and my presentation for the week is AJE By JAYWON & Barry Jay Aje is a Yoruba name for Wealth, JAYWON and Barry Jay desperately pray for wealth in that song, Saying Aje should locate them , Poverty isn't something to be proud of , Praying to God to bless them before it's too late. Man is nothing without money , so many things we want to do with money , even the Bible support having money to take care of your daily needs. Tho in the book of 1 Timothy 6:10-11 warned us about craving for money badly, the danger in wanting to have that money desperately. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. The book of Luke 16:1 gave us a little glimpse of the reason we need to have money. Everything that we have comes from God, health, strength, life itself, breath, intellect, education, opportunity, experience, money, “What do you have that you did not receive?” You were born into this world, not because of your own effort. You were born into this world, because that was done to you, that happened to you, and everything else that’s happened to you, whether it’s strength, or intellect, or education or opportunity, everything has been given to you by God. Thanks for reading through SONG LYRICS … Can't lie, can't lie I can't wait no more Can't lie, I can't lie I can't wait no more Can't lie, can't lie I can't wait no more Can't lie, I can't lie I can't wait no more … Aje jowo wa mi ri Owo jowo wa mi ri Iya o ki n shey omi obe baba Bless me before it gets too late … Aje jowo wa mi ri Owo jowo wa mi ri Iya oki n shey omi obe baba Bless me before it gets too late … Aje jowo wa mi ri Owo jowo wa mi ri Iya o ki n shey omi obe baba Bless me before it gets too late … Aje jowo wa mi ri Owo jowo wa mi ri Iya oki n se omi obe baba Bless me before it gets too late … Aje, ni ko wa mi ri Aje, ni ko wa mi ri, yeah Aje bi ti Tunde Folawuyo ni mo fi toro (ni mo fi toro) Aje bi ti Femi Otedola ni mo fi toro (ni mo fi toro) Aje bi ti Otunba Jide Amokore … Aliko Dangote, ni mo fi toro, ni mo fi toro Eleda mi ma sun Gbe ire ko mi Ki iremi ma kojami Eleda mi ma sun Ma je ki j'iya ju, ki to ri se laye E be ni mo be (yeah, yea) … Aje jowo wa mi ri Owo jowo wa mi ri Iya o ki n se omi obe baba Bless me before it gets too late … Aje jowo wa mi ri Owo jowo wa mi ri Iya oki n shey omi obe baba Bless me before it gets too late … Something must to change Something must to change Something must to change, oh … As I dey sleep dey wake up I dey thank God Mo gbe o ga baba mimo Na you open way for the small boy, forever grateful oba mimo And no be say I too sabi but you choose me … Small boy doing big things Nothing can stop me now Shower your blessing now Owo a pe ta nu ko oo Jowo wa si ile mi ooo Nothing can stop me now Shower your blessing now Owo ta pe ta nu ko oo Jowo wa si ilemi oo … Can't lie, I can't lie, can't wait no more Can't lie, I can't lie, I can't wait no more … Can't lie (aje jowo wa mi ri) Owo jowo wa mi ri Iya o ki n se omi obe baba Bless me before it gets too late … Aje jowo wa mi ri Owo jowo wa mi ri Iya o ki n se omi obe baba Bless me before it gets too late … Something must to change Something must to change Something must to change Something must to change Something must to change Something must to change … Brain on the mix Aje bi ti Mr. Ajeyatof Aje, aje, aje Aje wa fi ile mi se ibugbe Ki n ma ba e ji, ki n ma ba e sun Aje Source <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/_PwTVhYk1Yo" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" > Video

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=undisputedrar/gfrvqhtf Hello Everyone, Welcome to Vibes web 3 🎵🎶 Music competition week, 18. This is the cover for the song Daytime Friends and Night Time Lovers By KENNY ROGERS Daytime friends basically speaks on how a woman depends totally on her man for affection, friendship and is not getting reciprocation because she haas been deceived by her significant other, who has an option whom he shares the Daytime as friends with but Nighttime as lovers. They keep Hoping no one else discovers Where they go, what they do, in their secret hideaway “Daytime friends and nighttime lovers They don't want to hurt the others So they love in the nighttime And shake hands in the light of day” They never know how powerful a woman’s instinct is that she knows and that she feels hurt. It takes a whole lot for her to heal from the hurt and see things as normal again; This will mostly drive her insane, because she is never gonna stay the same; Daytime friends and Nighttime lovers will create a scar that will hurt much more. SONG LYRICS And he'll tell her he's working late again But she knows too well there's something going on She's been neglected, and she needs a friend So her trembling fingers dial the telephone … Lord, it hurts her doing this again He's the best friend that her husband ever knew When she's lonely, he's more than just a friend He's the one she longs to give her body to … Daytime friends and nighttime lovers Hoping no one else discovers Where they go, what they do, in their secret hideaway Daytime friends and nighttime lovers They don't want to hurt the others So they love in the nighttime And shake hands in the light of day … When it's over, there's no peace of mind Just a longing for the way things should have been And she wonders why some men never find That a woman needs a lover and a friend … Daytime friends and nighttime lovers Hoping no one else discovers Where they go, what they do, in their secret hideaway Daytime friends and nighttime lovers They don't want to hurt the others So they love in the nighttime And shake hands in the light of day … Daytime friends and nighttime lovers Hoping no one else discovers Where they go, what they do, in their secret hideaway Daytime friends and nighttime lovers They don't want to hurt the others So they love in the nighttime And shake hands in the light of day … Daytime friends and nighttime lovers Hoping no one else discovers Where they go, what they do, in their secret hideaway. HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL 🎎 WEEK #95 ROUND 2 (COVER) SEASONS IN THE SUN ☀️ BY WESTLIFE
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=undisputedrar/zddrbcor Hello wonderful people on HIVE MUSIC 🎵 🎶 FESTIVAL 🎎 I'm @undisputedrar and this is my first time here and my first entry , I hope I'm welcome? My presentation for the week #95 round 2 of music festival is SEASON IN THE SUN By Westlife The song is centralized about a friendship between two people that started when they were young and the memories they shared together. The adherent also talks about his troubled relationship with his father and his romantic partner, Michelle, who supported him through tough times. The chorus talks about the joyful moments they had together and how they were like different seasons that eventually faded away, leaving only memories behind, Goodbye papa please pray for me because he was the black sheep of the family despite several lessons from his papa. To round it up The song's pitiful lyrics about saying goodbye to loved ones before death resonated with many listeners. It has since become a pop culture staple, covered by numerous artists over the decades. The enduring popularity of "Seasons in the Sun" is a testament to its emotive, universal theme of mortality and the bittersweet nature of life. SONG LYRICS Goodbye to you, my trusted friend But we've known each other since we were nine or ten Together, we've climbed hills and trees Learned of love and ABC's Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees Goodbye, my friend, it's hard to die When all the birds are singing in the sky Now that spring is in the air Pretty girls are everywhere Think of me and I'll be there We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time Goodbye, papa, please pray for me I was the black sheep of the family You tried to teach me right from wrong Too much wine and too much song Wonder how I got along Goodbye, papa, it's hard to die When all the birds are singing in the sky Now that the spring is in the air Little children everywhere When you see them, I'll be there We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone Yeah, yeah, yeah Goodbye, Michelle, my little one You gave me love and helped me find the sun And every time that I was down You would always come around And get my feet back on the ground Goodbye, Michelle, it's hard to die When all the birds are singing in the sky Now that the spring is in the air With the flowers everywhere I wish that we could both be there We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun But the wine. HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 225, THEME: SWEET DREAM, WALKING DEAD BY AYOX FT ZLATAN
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=undisputedrar/pgddorsu HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 225, I welcome you all music lovers to the New Edition, And the Theme for this week is SWEET DREAMS. And my presentation for this week is WALKING DEAD By AYOX and Zlatan. CONTINUE TO REST ON MOHBAD Ayox, is a very gifted musician and good music composer from Nigeria, He performs a stunning rendition of his popular song “Walking Dead” with Zlatan. So much struggles for a life that can be taken at any time without our consent!!! 😢 On 'walking dead', Ayox sings, 'Jah is my confidence. Every man is a walking dead. He also fall back to alcohol as a means of easing off his pains. The second verse of this record is so controversial and powerful. He smoothly takes the listeners through his pains and toil and allows the listener to share in his pains. There is so much pain in his voice that it's unthinkable to think he is trying to sell you a story. And even if you still think this is fiction, he does a wonderful job of sounding true. When you go through pain, you look for means to escape from that reality, some it's music , to some it's alcohol and to some it's women , but why think so hard on something you don't have power over? AYOX said every man is a walking dead, Somehow i think it's true, Drs can only save lives that can only be saved. But once someone is beyond savings, that life isn't his again regardless of if it was yours in the first place. Walking Dead' features Zlatan Ibile as both artists discuss the weird realities of life and ask to be loved while they are alive. Love me while I'm still here , every man is a walking dead. Brother when am there no more people will love me more. Don't say you miss me when I'm gone , when you can show me all the love I needed now. SONG LYRICS "Walking Dead" Cause we go leave at the end, mama eh mama (ibile!) It's one life and I live it well, cause man no wan live with regrets Jah is my confidence Every man is a walking dead Love me while I'm still here, cause heaven is our residence Jah is my confidence Every man is a walking dead Brother when I'm there no more, people will love me more Talk about the things I've done, discuss my right and wrong While I'm laying dead on floor, when I can't talk no more eh eh If I go live forever, sebi oluwa lomo Ero ki mama eh, ma Tete wale oh Ayo Tete wale eh ah Too much wahala for who get, double wahala for who no get (kasala!) Person wey no get money na believe, make am tell tailor to put pocket Why should the good die young and the bad live for long? (Jamb question) Be felefele and hand go dey gun make I no kick bucket Although ile aye na vanity but sho ma da ki so le ki n ma bawon sha'gidi? WELCOME TO AFRI~TUNES WEEK 124, TWE TWE BY KIZZ DANIEL AND DAVIDO
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=undisputedrar/qihdvgxi Hello Music lovers on Hive, Welcome to the 124, Edition of Afritunes I'm @undisputedrar and my cover for this week is TWE TWE by KIZZ DANIEL Thank you as you listen. Kizz Daniel’s remix of “Twe Twe” is an anthem that blends celebration and contemporary African life. This song, featuring Davido, contains cultural references, social commentary, and dance beats. The lyrics are interpreted below to reveal more meaning and thematic underpinnings of the song. SONG LYRICS & INTERPRETATION BY LBUZZ Verse 1: Kizz Daniel – Vado: Kizz Daniel’s stage identity is confirmed, setting the stage for personal storytelling. “Won ni things ti won“: The line “they said things are expensive” refers to the cost of living, or the price of desirable items, which is a problem in many societies. “Won ni omo won“: “They said babes are scarce” could be a commentary on dating or finding a mate in the current social climate. “Won ni car ti won“: “They said cars are expensive” further highlights economic woes, and the prestige and status of owning a car in particular. “Ka shey akojo“: “Have savings” implies prudence in finances and the need for financial planning and security in times of economic uncertainty. “Mallam na Mallam“: “A rich man is a rich man” adds a whiff of inevitableness about money and status. “Alhamdulilahi owo mi po dada“: “Thank God my money is enough” contrasts the earlier lines, expressing personal gratitude for financial abundance in the face of economic troubles. “Yen Yen Yen“: Rejecting trivial complaints, this line emphasizes the good things in life. “Omoge wawo Ghost“: An invitation to luxury, with a woman joining the singer in a Rolls Royce Ghost, symbolizing wealth and high life. “Sare wa kin toast“: “Come, let me toast you” suggests romantic or flirtatious engagement, showing confidence and social engagement. “Mo ti pa owo sporty“: “I got money from sporty” hints at a source of the speaker’s wealth – success in betting or gambling – which adds to his character. “Pelu zero shorty“: “I have no shorties right now,” suggesting a moment alone or a break from romantic entanglement, possibly indicating a focus on personal success or a transition in personal relationships. “Mo ti mu one, I’m on two“: “I’ve taken one, I’m on two,” possibly in reference to drinks, levels of achievement, or experiences. “Moni ko lomu round three wa“: “I say bring the third round,” implying indulgence and willingness to try more – be it drinks, challenges, or experiences. “Shedi bembelebe“: A silly, nonsensical phrase that gives the song a jolly and carefree feel. “Big Vado”: Kizz Daniel ends the verse on a note of self-assuredness and prominence. Chorus: The chorus, with its repetitive “Twe twe” and “Twerk your body,” celebrates dance and movement. It’s an invitation to jive, to have a good time, and also to take part in the audio and dance of the band. Verse 2: Davido – Isakaba (Baddest): In Nigerian pop culture, “Isakaba” means power and might; in Davido’s own words, “Baddest” means confidence and control. “Give me your bakasi“: “Bakasi” is slang for a woman’s backside. “Your body looking like tsunami“: “Tsunami” as a metaphor for great beauty or impact. “Explosive Hiroshima Nagasaki“: A term for the cities bombed in WWII, used here as a hyperbole for destructive beauty or a strong impact. “Many omoge don make me miscalculate“: “Many women have made me miscalculate,” perhaps referring to distractions or the challenges of romantic interactions. “Don make me over debe“: “Have taken me over my limit,” maybe with spending, partying, or romance. “Don make me dey misbehave“: “Have made me behave improperly,” possibly due to attraction or the party atmosphere. “With the way they Twe Twe Twe Twe“: To emphasize the effect of the twerking. “Fit to make a man go Keke Na Pe Pe Pe“: “Can make a man go crazy,” “Keke Na Pe Pe” being a tricycle that suggests the dance can make a person lose control. “Egbami o Jesu“: A Yoruba exclamation meaning “Save me, oh Jesus!” Sometimes used as a sign of shock or awe, perhaps at the attraction or situation he is in. “They be feeling the boy like oleku“: “Oleku” is a popular song by Ice Prince, and the term itself suggests something fashionable or outstanding. Davido here implies that he is beloved or sought after, likening his appeal to a hit song or trend. “Osondi owendi o di o di o di o“: This line is from a traditional Igbo highlife song by Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe and means joy, celebration, and pride. The phrase may be viewed as an invitation to dance and take pleasure in life. “Oya see how her body Twe Twe Twe Twe“: An invitation to see how a woman dances, where “Twe Twe” represents the sound or rhythm of her movements. “Twerk your body Twe Twe baby, Twerk your body Twe Twe, Omoge Twerk your body oh“: These lines continue the song’s general theme of dance – specifically twerking – as an expression and enjoyment. Davido encourages the woman to dance freely, highlighting her movements. “On a low, on a low“: This phrase may mean to keep things secret or to enjoy the moment without attracting too much attention, thus making the interaction more intimate or subtle. Overview and Opinion The remix of “Twe Twe” by Kizz Daniel brings the full breadth of Davido’s verse to life with cultural homage, personal allure, and danceability. Davido combines traditional references with contemporary slang, demonstrating the interplay of modern African music with its cultural heritage. The song, with its bouncy beats and relatable lyrics, invites listeners to the dance floor and provides a sampling of expressions reflecting African youth culture. The collaboration of Kizz Daniel and Davido elevates the track to a rousing anthem that speaks of celebration, resilience, and the universal human bond through music. Source
