Universal Design And...

The architect, activist and journalist Jos Boys had a guest professorship at The Royal Danish Academy between 2022 and 2025. To commemorate this, and reflect on the past three years of research, Jos will chair three 45-minute podcasts with the Royal Danish Academy faculty, students and other guests.  Each episode explores different ways of re-thinking Universal Design. The podcasts aim to build on already existing collaborations at the Academy, to capture and share creative ways of engaging more creatively with issues of disability, access and inclusion.     Universal Design and…. Disabled Creativity

    What can be learnt from diverse disabled people’s expertise and creativity in making more inclusive products, buildings and environments?  The last episode in the series of Universal Design and…focuses on the knowledge gained by negotiating inaccessible designs that disabled people have.
