Vegan, Really?

Hi, we're Nastya and Yann, a couple who loves to experiment. We live in Belgium, but we both grew up in developing countries. In this podcast we talk about veganism from the inside - for this we become vegan for a month.Becoming vegan seems like a big sacrifice for our lifestyle. And yet veganism is considered to have a positive effect on our planet and even our health. So how hard is it, to be vegan? And is it really necessary? These and many other topics we will be discussing in "Vegan, really?". But at the centre of it all will be our adventure - with its challenges, benefits and obstacles that we expect to face as vegans.

    Episode 10: The finish line?

One month, it went quite fast. During this period, we experimented with the vegan diet, and learned what motivates people to follow it. Topics we wanted to have more understanding on: cost of food, health, difficulties, social impact were visited. What is our final direction? Will we continue this diet or will we go back to the way we used to? Find out in this episode. This is not a farewell though but just a good bye. See you on Instagram or for our next experience. Episode 9: One person to save the world

More and more people are willing to change their lifestyle for the sake of the planet. More are protesting. Almost every day we hear about new protests for animal rights or about climate change - reasons why people choose to go vegan. Do these actions make a difference? What is a proper protest? Does throwing food at paintings help the planet? And how important is veganism at the scale of the planet? In short, personal responsibility is the topic of this episode.
