The Other Side of F&%$ing Up
In Episode 55 of Via Love and Evolution, Sarah and Katrina explore the energy of Uranus moving into Gemini and why this astrological shift can act as a catalyst for major change, both personally and collectively. Change can feel wildly different depending on where you’re standing. For some, it’s anxiety-inducing and destabilizing. For others, it’s the prize behind a mysterious door the thing that sets you free. In this conversation, we unpack how this theme is already showing up in our own lives, and how growth and alignment are becoming more tangible by the day. We reflect on the changes we’ve made so far many of them unexpected, uncomfortable, and deeply humbling… and also wholly necessary and wonderful. The kind of change that doesn’t just shift your circumstances, but shifts you. This episode is an honest look at what it means to evolve through uncertainty, to learn through missteps, and to discover that sometimes the other side of “f&%$ing up” is actually clarity, courage, and a new version of yourself. Along the way, we explore the essential roles of optimism and curiosity and why cultivating both might be one of the greatest tools we have for flowing with the unknown. If you’re in a season of change, this one’s for you.

Mistakes, Meaning, and Being Human
Episode 54 of Via Love and Evolution is all about mistakes and what it really means to be human. Sarah and Katrina have a candid, grounded conversation about showing up with intention, even when we don’t know what kind of trauma we might be holding space for… including our own. What happens when you realize you could’ve done better? When you make a genuine mistake or even a seasoned, “I-should’ve-known” kind of error? Together, we explore the uncomfortable but necessary questions: How do we move mistakes into lessons instead of shame spirals? How do we hold compassion for ourselves when we know better and still drop the ball? What do we do when our biases, triggers, or unresolved wounds sneak into the room? This episode is a reflection on accountability without self-abandonment. A practice in learning how to repair, grow, and stay present even when we’re imperfect. Through real-life scenarios and honest storytelling, we unpack what empowerment looks like in the work we do and in the relationships we care about. We explore the balance between care, compassion, and responsibility and the richness that comes from showing up authentically, even if we make it messy. Because maybe the real question isn’t “Is it okay to make mistakes?” Maybe the question is: Can we learn to stay with ourselves when we do? How do you feel about this episode - we want to hear from you!

Ethical and Conscious Communication
April is SAAM - Sexual Assault Awareness Month Episode 53 of Via Love and Evolution brings forward a conversation that is heavy but deeply relevant to the current state of the world. In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Sarah and Katrina hold space for a topic that deserves more truth, tenderness, and real awareness. This past week, Sarah fulfilled one of her heartfelt goals by completing training to become a volunteer sexual assault advocate. She shares what the experience was like, including the staggering realities and statistics surrounding the prevalence of sexual abuse and sexual violence and what it means to be educated, prepared, and willing to show up. Katrina explores the subject through her own lens as a survivor, speaking to the layered, complex nature of trauma and the long echoes it can leave behind. Together, we reflect on what “showing up” actually looks like how to respond as a safe person, how to practice active listening, how to honor someone’s autonomy and agency, and how to support survivors without centering ourselves. We also discuss how to care for your own nervous system while holding space for others. This episode is rooted in awareness not as a passive concept, but as a conscious, active practice. A frequency of compassion, presence, and proactive peace. While the subject matter is intense, this conversation is ultimately filled with gratitude for the healing, courage, and safety it takes to speak about sexual violence with honesty and care.

Observe Don't Absorb: A Conversation with Evolutionary Astrologer Meredith McCowan
Episode 51 Astrology, Awakening & the Cosmic Now (with Meredith McCowan) In this mystical and expansive episode of Via Love and Evolution, Sarah and Katrina sit down with guest Meredith McCowan, a professional Evolutionary Astrologer based in Saint Paul, Minnesota and the founder of Earthling Astrology. Together, Sarah, Katrina, and Meredith dive into one of our favorite topics: astrology as a tool for self-discovery, meaning-making, and evolutionary growth. They explore what it feels like to engage with astrology as more than curiosities about one's sun sign and how it can become a mirror for your inner world, a language for your soul’s patterns, and a compass for personal evolution. Meredith shares how her astrological path emerged from a corporate career into spiritual awakening and deep study, leading her to honor astrology not only as myth or metaphor, but as a meaningful system rooted in pattern recognition, symbolism, and soulful understanding. In this rich conversation, you’ll hear about: Using astrology for self-reflection and inner alignment. We listed to the ways in which reading your chart can reveal not only personality traits but deeper energetic tendencies and life themes. What to do (and say) when astrology isn’t landing for you. How to sit with skepticism, resistance, or confusion without shutting down your curiosity. Meredith shares about the current astrological zeitgeist; including the rare and powerful collective energy we’re moving into with a once-in-6,000-year Aries stellium that is catalyzing both individual and collective courage, initiation, and forward momentum. An approach that is both grounded and expansive. Meredith’s blend of pattern-based logic, data awareness, intuitive insight, and mythic understanding invites listeners to engage astrology in a way that feels both accessible and profound. Unintentionally Brilliant
Episode 49 of Via Love and Evolution is a heartfelt catch-up. One that unfolds into something deeper than expected. Sarah returns from a transformative retreat in Roatán, sharing reflections on life, love, and the cultural richness of the experience. What she brings back isn’t just memories, but a renewed sense of presence feeling reinvigorated, inspired, and more connected to what truly matters. What emerges is a beautiful full-circle moment, where separate experiences weave together into something meaningful, grounded, and shared. Together, they reflect on the power of stepping away, gaining perspective, and allowing life to reveal its lessons in its own timing. Your Values Are Showing
On this episode of Via Love and Evolution, Sarah and Katrina explore the landscape of present and collective grief. Both in our personal lives and in the wider human story unfolding around us. Together, they reflect on grief not as something to outrun or suppress, but as a profound teacher. Emotions ebb and flow, and learning how to stay with them, rather than numb or resist is part of the deeper training. The kind of training that builds real inner strength. The kind of warriorship rooted not in force, but in emotional capacity. From there, the conversation expands into how their humanitarian values shape the way they respond to the current cultural moment and the kind of change they hope to see in the world. What does it mean to live aligned with compassion? How do our values guide action without collapsing into despair? The episode closes with a reflection on shifting astrological energies and the possibility that the larger cosmic tides may be mirroring the shifts we’re feeling collectively as a human race. This is a conversation about grief, growth, responsibility, and hope—about learning to hold the weight of the world without hardening our hearts. Via love. Via evolution.

Milestones, Mislabeling & Metamorphosis
Episode 47 lands on our one-year anniversary of Via Love and Evolution. Happy Anniversary, Via! 🎉 This episode holds celebration and honesty, reflection, laughter and growth. Sarah and Katrina take time to reflect on the podcast that almost didn’t happen—the hesitation, the vulnerable beginnings, the cringey moments, and the deep sense of accomplishment that has grown alongside it. We celebrate doing this work our way, and we feel immense gratitude for every single listener who has joined us—from right next door to across the world. We’re in it for another year, and we can’t wait to continue this journey of growth and evolution with you through the next cycle around the sun. It’s the Year of the Fire Horse, and we’re ready to run free. At the same time, we name what’s real right now: with so much being revealed in the world, it can be hard to shake the anger, worry, and uncertainty many of us are carrying. Sarah and Katrina share openly about their experiences of transmuting heavy emotions, unlearning language and labels that no longer fit, and listening to our intuition. Katrina shares a story about receiving a particularly tone-deaf DM, which opens a candid conversation about judgment, mislabeling, and humbling lessons. If Via has taught us anything this year, it’s this: we evolve fastest when we’re willing to stay open, stay human, and keep coming back to loving kindness toward ourselves and others. Here’s to year two. 🔥🐎

A Place To Be Believed: A Conversation with Healing Hearts Founder, Hilary Buckwalter-Wilde
In episode 46, we welcome back returning guest Hilary Buckwalter-Wilde for an essential and deeply impactful conversation. A must-listen for anyone committed to healing, telling the truth, and building safer relational futures. Listeners may remember Hilary from Episode 5, where she courageously shared her story of surviving narcissistic abuse within an intimate partner relationship. Since then, she has continued to transform her lived experience into meaningful action—flipping the script in an incredible way. Hilary is the Founder and Executive Director of Healing Hearts, a survivor-led nonprofit dedicated to creating safer healing spaces, healthier dating ecosystems, and systemic accountability for intimate partner violence and narcissistic abuse. A trauma-informed practitioner with more than two decades of experience, she brings a rare blend of scholarly depth, lived expertise, and visionary leadership to the movement for relational safety. Together, we explore the traits of the larger system of harm our society has been steeped in for centuries. As Hilary powerfully names, this is “trauma we call culture.” It feels familiar because it’s everywhere—even in spaces we label as safe or growth-oriented: families of origin, churches, yoga studios, therapy offices, healing communities, and dating platforms. When harm hides in plain sight, it can be difficult to name. This conversation helps us do exactly that. Hilary’s soon-to-be-launched organization seeks to protect, advocate, educate, and support those who are ready to tell the truth about patterns of harm—especially when those truths are inconvenient or disruptive. We discuss what it takes to move from silence to clarity, from isolation to collective support. This episode is the epitome of heavy to hopeful. It was an honor to celebrate Hilary and witness this brilliant, necessary work being birthed into the world. This is survivorship 101 and she wrote the code.

Tender Parts
VIA Evolution is on the cusp of its one-year anniversary, and Episode 45 offers a beautiful moment to look back on this past year—and on our past selves—with compassion. Sarah and Katrina acknowledge what so many of us are feeling: the social climate is intense right now. It’s a lot. We’re feeling it too. Taking a mental health break last week felt necessary; creating space to sit with the tender parts of ourselves and to acknowledge the deep-rooted pains being brought to the surface. Has anyone struck a nerve with you lately? You’re not alone. In this episode, Sarah and Katrina share openly about how they’ve navigated being triggered—by narrow thinking, abrasive language, aggressive tones, and ostracizing behavior—while still holding all of it. They talk honestly about the ways we sometimes numb out when things feel overwhelming, and what it looks like to navigate back to presence. As with many conversations this past cycle, we take time to verbally process, bear witness to the pain, name what’s happening, and feel what we feel. And—because this is Via—we also find a way to laugh! This one had us cackling. And we truly needed it.

Carry you on
In this episode, Katrina names the familiar feeling of overwhelm and the not-so-subtle way it can show up as irritability (i.e. "bitchiness") when life starts to tax the nervous system. Sarah cuts straight to the heart of it: we’re at capacity right now. Winter isn’t meant to be a season of running from the proverbial wolves of trauma, grief, and sadness. And yet, sometimes our bodies remember before we do. Sometimes we can’t help what resurfaces when things slow down. This January marks the seven-year anniversary of Katrina’s brother Jess’s passing, and with it comes a remembering of the pain, the weight, and also of what carried her through that impossible time. What saved her then is the same thing that offers warmth now: love. Together, Katrina and Sarah explore how to channel what sustains us when the world feels cold and heavy. How to remember what fuels the torch that lights the way forward.

Our Home, Our Truth
Episode 43 is different. Katrina and Sarah call Minneapolis home, and in this moment, it feels essential to speak from where we are—physically, emotionally, and collectively. In the midst of current events and unrest in our city, we come together to check in, name the tension we’re carrying, and share our perspectives with honesty and care. This conversation is real. We slow down to feel our feelings—and yes, it gets emotional. As we move toward the heart of the matter, we explore why it’s crucial to find a way through in order to know what is true for you. To hold with acceptance that light does not exist without dark—it's always going to be both. The question becomes: now what? What are we going to do? We gently speculate on shared fears: What happens when we refuse to communicate? What happens when we stop listening to what is truly being said? The impending grief feels familiar. The hollow ache that follows loss and serves as a reminder of the immense suffering unfolding in our world today. And still, we return to what grounds us. Via Love and Evolution is aptly named: we arrive at truth via love, and via growth. Together, we explore multiple ways through—what to do with rage instead of spilling it onto others, how to recognize where your power actually lives, and how to discern what your work is in moments like this. As always, we leave room for levity, softness, and love, even when things feel heavy. This episode is an invitation to stay present, stay human, and keep recognizing hope.

Of Course You Want to Feel Better: A Conversation with Eating Disorder Specialist Dr. Karen Nelson
We’re back! We’re starting 2026 with a powerful, compassionate conversation alongside our beloved returning guest, Dr. Karen Nelson, board-certified licensed clinical psychologist and eating disorder specialist. Together, we unpack the exhaustion and harm of the “new year, new you” resolution hype and the fear-based marketing that so often dominates the health and wellness industry. In the age of influence—where transformation is sold as a prerequisite for worth—we pause to refresh our collective awareness around mental health, disordered eating, and the deeply ingrained belief that we must become someone else in order to simply be. Dr. Karen brings her signature blend of clarity and comfort, reminding us that we are not broken things to be fixed, but normal humans with emotions meant to be experienced. With compassion and wisdom, she invites us to slow down, practice presence, and relearn how to trust ourselves. Always reminding us that - it's never to late and healing is possible! Instead of rigid diets, glow-up goals, and grand visions that often deflate more than they deliver, Dr. Karen guides us back to our own lived wisdom. Not to label ourselves as victims of our circumstances, but to approach our past with curiosity—so we can more consciously shape our future. We already carry the innate ability to move from hopelessness to power. This episode is rich with insight, reassurance, and practical reframes that serve us all. Cheers to the new year—and to trusting ourselves to remember we are already enough.

The P-word
Katrina and Sarah close out 2025 in deep reflection and celebration, honoring the completion of 41 podcast episodes this year. In this final episode of the season, they pause to feel the empowerment of that accomplishment—and to name all that has been integrated along the way. Through honest reflection, they recognize a phase of growth now complete, emerging more dialed-in, turned-on, and increasingly trusting of the present moment. This way of being doesn’t happen by accident—it takes practice, pause, and a willingness to embrace our innate personal power. Sarah reflects on the impact of her new favorite read, PUSSY: A Reclamation by Mama Gena, while Katrina names the phase she’s recently moved through—and what she can now see clearly from the other side. Together, they self-model what it means to learn through love rather than punishment, and to meet growth with compassion. Finally, they pause—intentionally—taking a couple of weeks off to integrate and restore. New episodes return Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Clear Connection
Episode 39 of Via Love and Evolution is a patient conversation about the realities of adult friendship—how we build it, prioritize it, and keep showing up even when life (and our wounds) get in the way. This week, Sarah and Katrina unpack what it really takes to connect with others as grown, evolving humans. We explore the invisible barriers—timing, conditioning, fear, expectations, old patterns—that can make friendship feel harder than it should, even with the people we love most. We each share personal stories about navigating connection while healing: how to stay open when vulnerability feels risky, how to discern, and how to keep reaching for each other when the odds feel stacked against us. This episode is a reminder that adult friendship isn’t effortless—it’s intentional, imperfect, and deeply worth it. And healing doesn’t close us off from others; it deepens our capacity to relate, trust, and be seen. Because we’re all just trying to build foundations that feel safe, reciprocal, and real.

Healing for Good
Episode 38 of Via Love and Evolution is a joyful, honest celebration of… not being fully healed yet...?? This week, Sarah and Katrina dive into the real phases of healing—the ones that aren’t glamorous, linear, or finished, but grounded, deeper, and supported by better tools than we used to have. Katrina opens the conversation with a curious question: What’s your primary intrinsic motivator—your wound or your wish? Are you moving from a trauma response, or from your heart’s true desire? Together, we explore the human dilemma of the moment: finding balance on the spectrum between creativity and consumption. We unpack how to tell whether your actions are serving your calling or simply soothing old pain. We look at what genuine expression really is, and what it means to operate from mindful intention rather than old programming. And yes—we ask the important questions, like: Do you have a PMA (positive mental attitude) on the road trip of life? What does intentional, present, embodied self-care actually look like? Sarah shares the most perfect example of her own intentional care practice for the coming season. Through open conversation and real-time processing, we navigate what it feels like to grow, to slip, to reset, and to keep choosing ourselves. Katrina shares a powerful real-life example of how to respond with curiosity and compassion when your wounds start speaking, and we reflect on the truth that regret is simply a signpost: a reminder to live your purpose out loud, right now. Because it’s never too late to change. And you don’t have to be "healed" to begin.

Meet Me In The Mirror
Episode 37 of Via Love and Evolution is a cozy catch-up after a bi-week, and we’re diving right back into the deep end. A real conversation about intuition, self-value, and seeing ourselves with clearer eyes. Sarah shares her experience completing a two-weekend Yin Yoga training—an initiation that left her intuition sharper, her awareness wider, and her inner world marked with undeniable signs of growth. We explore the symbolic moments that tend to arise during profound transitions and what it feels like to answer a call that you simply know is meant for you. We move into the mirror principle and how it’s been showing up in real time. We talk self-value. Specifically, the internal metrics we’ve been conditioned to measure our worth by—and Katrina processes her current discoveries around redefining a skewed perspective to recognize our innate value from the inside out. Naturally, our old conditioning popped in to say hello. The difference now? We recognize her voice. And we’re getting better and better at choosing alignment, truth, and self-trust. This episode is a reminder that surrendering to what’s ours, releasing what isn’t, and staying faithful to our inner knowing is the path forward. That’s how we do it.

Dream on, Witch
In this soulful and expansive conversation, Sarah and Katrina explore the intersections of self-expression, embodiment, and the long echo of the witch wound — the inherited fear of being seen, powerful, or misunderstood for expressing our truth. What begins as an honest catch-up unfolds into a deeper dialogue about trusting the body’s wisdom, somatic awareness, and finding safety in being fully ourselves. They discuss what it means to take up space — to speak, create, and live authentically — while also having the support needed to do so. Katrina shares her personal experience with the witch wound and how it has shaped her voice, visibility, and sense of belonging. The conversation opens further as Sarah expresses curiosity about dream interpretation, and Katrina shares two vivid dreams that revealed powerful messages from her inner world — symbols of intuition, healing, and the body’s quiet and wise knowing. As the episode closes, the two reflect on the deep future — one we’re already seeding through our courage to be seen, to dream, and to trust what’s real within us. The future is deep, and we are planting ourselves there — as seeds. 🌙

Villain Era
Sarah and Katrina dive into their shared values — humor, freedom, and authenticity — and explore how these qualities shape the way they show up in life, work, and as leaders in their work and life. They unpack what it means to live with intentional authenticity: finding acceptance and balance with all parts of ourselves, from the bright and celebrated to the shadowy and outcast. Humor becomes a bridge to health, brain deveolpment and connection, while freedom — in thought, expression, and truth — becomes the foundation for self-trust. Together, they explore how patterns and conditioning shape our relationship with truth, and what it takes to rebuild trust with the “real you.” This playful and powerful conversation works to uncover their “inner baddie” — the bold, unapologetic energy within us all — and ask how to channel that power consciously, with love and integrity. From "Good Girl" conditioning to Villain Era. This episode is a reminder that even our darker sides hold light, that levity is sacred, and that true freedom begins with embracing every part of who we are.

Self Care 4 Eva
Episode 34: sweater season and self care. A cozy and candid conversation, Sarah and Katrina settle into the rhythms of autumn — a season of rest, reflection, and nourishment. Between warm soups, cozy sweaters, and Sunday football, they explore what it means to care for themselves in body, mind, and home. Katrina opens up about her personal self-care journey — from gut healing and thinning hair challenges to embracing a “health reset”. Together, they unpack the evolving meaning of self-care, moving beyond egoic hustle culture and old coping mechanisms disguised as self-love. The conversation also turns deeply personal as Katrina shares an experience of receiving unsolicited weight loss advice, prompting reflection on body image, cultural bias, and the layers of shame many carry around appearance and worth. With honesty and compassion, she explores how to meet those wounded parts with care, gratitude and the desire to feel free and loved in her body. As both Sarah and Katrina prepare for a season of rest while navigating motherhood and midlife transitions, they invite listeners to do the same: to nourish themselves like one would a plant, to tend to their inner garden, and practice the radical acceptance of being a multi faceted human — in every season.

Truth and Harmony
In episode 31 of Via Love and Evolution, Sarah and Katrina explore the beauty and complexity of holding multiple truths at once. From the everyday chaos of Sarah’s cat and dog learning to coexist, to the inner parts of ourselves that often feel in conflict, they dive into how accepting the present moment as it is can lead to balance and less suffering. Together, they get personal and unpack stories from their own experiences. From people-pleasing to self-validation, and moving from feelings of unworthiness to a place of personal power. We discuss the importance of seeing and integrating all parts of ourselves, recognizing that suffering is the universal human experience, and understanding that those who challenge us are often catalysts for our own growth. Sarah shares her commitment to advocating for causes she cares about and resonates with Katrina's concept of “zooming out”—seeing the bigger picture as a method to release pressure and find moments of peace amidst life’s triggers. This episode is an offering of tools and guides on to learning how to live with inner harmony, navigate triggers, and embrace the shared journey of human evolution.

Micro Macro Meta
In episode 30, Sarah and Katrina find their sweet spot in a conversation about what it really means to tune into the present moment. Together, they explore the micro—the small, everyday details of being human; the macro—the bigger picture of holding both crisis and bliss; and the meta—the mystery that unfolds when we zoom out and trust what we cannot see. How do we hold both the heavy and the joyful? How do we learn to trust the mystery? And what happens when the things we’ve been conditioned to honor finally fall away? Perhaps what emerges is greater than anything we could have imagined. This dialogue touches on establishing safety in self-connection, the faith it takes to trust yourself, and the courage to embrace what could be. We reflect on the structures, maps, and tools that guide us back to ourselves—while also recognizing when it’s time to release them. Because the true practice is knowing when to lean on what works, and when to step into the completeness that has been within you all along.

Along the way, we share our message to the world: imperfections are welcome, curiosity rules, and accepting what is—without shame—is a radical act of love. Did we pull it off? You’ll have to listen in and let us know.

Episode 27 is about choosing joy on purpose. This week, Sarah and Katrina dive into the power of prioritizing joy, happiness, and those daily doses of dopamine that fuel our health and wellbeing. Sarah shares the emotional experience of welcoming a golden retriever puppy into her family—and how the presence of a dog, in their true nature, living moment to moment, offers a masterclass in joy itself. But why is it that so many of us save our own joy for last, treating it as optional or indulgent? We explore how the materialistic, capitalistic culture we grew up in may have desensitized us—teaching us to chase joy in things, leaving us feeling like we never have or are enough. This conversation is a reminder that joy is abundant and —it’s medicine. Joy is rebellion AND heart health. Gratitude paves the way to that freedom. And choosing joy simply for the sake of enjoyment might be the most empowering choice you’ll ever make.

Get Embodied
In this episode, we honor the miracle of our human bodies. From the quiet restoration happening in sleep, to the wisdom of somatics, to the resilience of healing after surgery—our bodies are constantly working on our behalf, often in ways we hardly notice. Getting present with the body takes patience and practice. We aren’t superhuman—we’re simply human—and yet there is something magical that unfolds when we slow down, face our wounds, and offer ourselves love in the process of healing. Together, we invite you into your own introspective journey: to listen for the primal intelligence within, to move in the ways your body longs to move, and to make space for whatever needs to be released or expressed. Along the way, you might just discover a deeper trust in yourself—or even become your own best friend.

Highlights Along The Way
In Episode 25, we're highlighting an important reminder: Some truths arrive as a whisper. Others as a jolt. In this special episode, we’ve gathered three moments from past conversations—each carrying a different kind of light for the journey. From the raw honesty of facing self-sabotage, to the joy of wholeheartedly following your calling, to the quiet courage of healing through grief—these stories remind us that our inner voice is always there, waiting to guide us home. First from Episode 14, we speak to the part of ourselves that clings to safety, the “survivalist protector” that can silence the heart’s call. From Episode 15, a story from our interview with Jeanette Jurado—80’s icon from dance group Exposé—Jeanette she shares how she followed the thread of joy to stay close to what she loves most. And from Episode 16, A highlighted segment of our conversation with Grief Coach Cami Thelander offers a mini-masterclass in the truth that lives within, and how to listen for it - even in the wake of life’s deepest grief. These moments are a reminder: beneath the fear, beneath the ache, there is a message in you—rooted in love, steeped in joy. It’s always been there. Waiting for you to answer.

The Cost of Perfection & the Power of Reflection: A Conversation with Mental Health Speaker Ivy Watts
In this episode, Sarah and Katrina sit down with Ivy Watts—a wellness advocate, mental health speaker, and former All-American student athlete—to explore her powerful journey from silent struggle to outspoken support. Ivy opens up about the pressure of perfection she carried as a young athlete, and how losing that identity left her unmoored. Years of emotional bypassing and “just keep going” conditioning eventually gave way to a turning point: a vulnerable moment shared by a friend that cracked open Ivy’s own awareness. From there, she began therapy, started speaking honestly with her family, and began rewriting her relationship with mental health. Today, Ivy uses her voice to reflect the truth she once needed to hear—offering connection, clarity, and hope to young athletes and anyone navigating anxiety, depression, or identity loss. Her story is a beautiful reminder about the power of healing, and feeling seen and heard in safe spaces. Ivy’s presence is both powerful and grounding, and we’re honored to share this conversation with you.

Your Sovereignty Is Showing
The world is unraveling—and we’re still growing. In episode 23, Sarah and Katrina sit with the weight of the world—naming the heaviness, the heartbreak, and the disorientation that comes with witnessing so much chaos, conflict, and change. Through an unscripted, vulnerable (and spicy!) conversation, we process the emotional toll of navigating a world on fire—while still trying to hold our center, keep our hearts open, and make sense of it all *gestures broadly*. We explore what it means to walk the path of personal growth when the ground keeps shifting—to hold multiple truths, to accept not always knowing exactly how we feel, and to live into a version of humanhood that was never modeled for us. We speak honestly about sacred rage and quiet grief. About what to do with the old masks still being handed back to us. About the tension between who we’ve been and who we’re being called to become. And yet—there is something deeply reassuring in the evidence of our progress: in the way we now pause, speak truth, take up space, and honor our own divinity. The version of ourselves we’re being called to become is bigger than we ever imagined. We never said we couldn’t handle it. We just hadn’t seen it this clearly—until now. No masks. No map. Just truth, rage, and sovereignty.

Growth Looks Good on You, Babe
In episode 22, we're talking about energy, expression & emotional freedom. This week on Via Love and Evolution, Sarah and Katrina get real about the therapeutic tools and inner work that have helped us reclaim emotional freedom—especially in learning how to take up space, make noise, and feel safe doing so. We dive into the energetics of masculine and feminine (yin and yang), exploring how our energy centers connect and respond—whether in flow or when blocked. We open up about the challenge of receiving love and support after years of people-pleasing, and how withholding that reciprocity actually harms both ourselves and others. This conversation is an invitation to reflect on the “data” of your own growth: How are your new patterns and practices showing up in your life? Can you notice the moments of ease, clarity, or alignment? We'd love to hear from you—call in and share your story of self-exploration.

When Life Keeps "Life-ing"
This week, Sarah and Katrina ask: Is there such a thing as “good” stress? Episode 21 gets real about stress in all its forms — the kind that breaks you down, the kind that builds you up, and the kind that just won’t quit. They share personal stories about current stressors, past fears that still echo in the present, and the emotional weight of everyday life — from aging to ambition, from healing to holding it all together. It's a candid, in-the-moment conversation filled with reflection, real-time processing, and reminders that even the good things in life come at a cost. Ignoring our pain has gone on too long, yet it still takes power to energize change. Is it possible to move through pain without ignoring it? To grow without burning out? What do we do when we’re hoping to feel like superheroes... but life keeps life-ing? If you've ever felt overwhelmed by your own healing, or like the stress just won’t let up — this one’s for you. We want to hear from you, too: How are you connecting — or reconnecting — with what pains you?

Attachment, Awareness, Acceptance - Oh My!
This week, in Episode 20 Sarah and Katrina dive into a meaningful conversation about attachment styles — not just in relationships with others, but in how we relate to ourselves and the world around us. They explore how attachment patterns are deeply tied to family of origin, nervous system regulation, and how those patterns can shift depending on how connected we are to our inner sense of safety and to what IFS (Internal Family Systems) calls the Self — with a capital S. And yes— when two emotional wellness nerds get together to talk about attachment and awareness, it’s only a matter of time before the conversation turns to parts work. They dip a metaphorical toe into talking about a favorite and frequently referenced topic: Internal Family Systems. We mean it when we say "No bad parts". Whether you trend clingy, avoidant or everything in between - this episode is for you! Tune in for a curious, compassionate, and deeply human look at how we show up in relationship — with our past, our people, and all the parts of ourselves that are trying to protect and connect.

The Fraud
This week, Sarah and Katrina open up about a serious—and deeply unsettling—experience behind the scenes of the podcast. A few weeks ago, we recorded what we thought was a powerful episode featuring our first male guest: a cis white man who came to us with a compelling story of trauma, recovery, and personal transformation. His message seemed aligned with our values of healing and authenticity. But just before the episode was set to launch, one quick Google search turned everything upside down. We'd been played. We discovered that we had been intentionally deceived. This guest withheld a significant and disturbing truth about his past — something that directly contradicted the values of Via Love and Evolution. That kind of manipulation has no place in this space. We were duped, but we won't be silenced. In this episode, we share the story of what happened, how it happened, what we learned, and why integrity matters more than ever in spaces of healing. This is a true story about discernment, boundaries, and the power of due diligence. We nearly gave someone a platform they didn’t deserve — but we learned the truth. And we’re talking about it. Listen in a let us know your take on this shocking yet true story that we never saw coming.
