Moments
Vincent Teetsov's latest album, "The Place Called Home", features a range of different styles and themes, to tell the story of what it is to come of age in today's world with shifting cultural perspectives. The album discusses masculinity, self expression, and anxiety. It examines the way technology morphs our brain and complicates collective memory. It releases the tension surrounding history, the elapsing of time, and time's fragile nature. Looking to the future, some of the songs talk about the inspiring personalities and ideas that ease the challenges of life. "The Place Called Home" is a sequel to Vincent's last album, "Roar in the Garbage Can", which was about immigration, language, cultural identity, and the urge to create and live with freedom. Vincent's brother, Jahn Teetsov (of the electronic band Pleasure Curses), has worked closely with him on this album as a producer, instrumentalist, and creative visionary. From beginning to end, the album will take you on a journey. Perhaps you'll hear noticeable musical influences throughout it. Though, ultimately it strives for something new. TRACKLIST: 1. Moments 2. Bones All Around
A song inspired by stories of "ribs" records from behind the Iron Curtain. When certain rock and jazz music was banned, it had to be printed on discarded x-rays, which would only last for a few listens. LYRICS: I bought this record on the side of the road Hanging on a shaky metal rack. Among the beets and potato sacks I knew we’d found some gold. And hid it in our coats, The light of the bones was on the tracks. Cigarette butt, middle smack. A floppy circle from a bootlegger’s stacks. Bones all around, All around. Burnt out in the middle. Bones all around, All around, while Nero played his fiddle. Ob-La-Di and Ob-La-Da, The words were shaking and so damn raw. You take your trolley to the jeweller’s store, And I’ll talk to Brezhnev and ask for more. I was scared if we ever got caught. No rock and roll was worth getting shot. But if someday I ever go missing, Go put it on and hear the record hissing. Bones all around, All around. Burnt out in the middle. Bones all around, All around, while Nero played his fiddle. Bones all around, All around. Burnt out in the middle. Bones all around, All around, while Nero played his fiddle.

Diggin' Up
A tale loosely based on the discovery of a medieval abbot at Furness Abbey. Written and recorded by Vincent Teetsov Backing vocals: Laani Heinar Watch the video below. Any shares are much appreciated! : https://youtu.be/G6wduyOOUZg Digging up the resting dead isn't what I aim to do I've got my own conundrums without disturbing muddy tombs This project's required Doesn't care if I'm tired Then I see his smiling chompers, now I know I'm through. Take the motorway back, hope that rigging stays No more rounded exits, missing bones won't earn my pay Can't work like this no more, back's never felt more sore Then I saw him climbing out, still he haunts my days Nothing so dull as finding a skull in any other place But if you stick around and don't make sound he'll greet you face to face Never thought I'd be so grateful to see ghouls from creepy fables Made me scream and then a chuckle Like some perished distant uncle In the Vale of Deadly Nightshade, finally found a friend who stayed Company in utmost stealth, hide him on the store room shelf Phone is ringing off the hook, all the papers want to know Museums knocking down the door, want his golden staff to show They can take all the jewellery, just as long as they leave me But to rob me of family, how could they go so low? I've set up several cameras all around to keep a watch A chair beneath the handle and a lock so I won't botch This once in a lifetime companion is now mine And if I take all his magic, I'll bring my power up a notch Nothing so dull as finding a skull in any other place But if you stick around and don't make sound he'll greet you face to face Never thought I'd be so grateful to see ghouls from creepy fables Made me scream and then a chuckle Like some perished distant uncle In the Vale of Deadly Nightshade, finally found a friend who stayed Company in utmost stealth, hide him on the store room shelf
