NJ's life changed forever when her husband died from an overdose. That loss forced her to confront not just grief, but a lifetime of pain she'd been numbing with alcohol and weed. It pushed her to finally heal—from a tumultuous, abusive marriage, from childhood sexual abuse in foster care, from being raised by a narcissistic adoptive mother in a religious cult-like environment, and from a string of relationships where she was cheated on and used. She realized the chaos she kept surviving was rooted in a childhood where she learned her voice didn't matter. So she went on a quest to find it.
