NEWS Illuminate Downtown Ashland 2025
ASHLAND, MA — The annual Illuminate Downtown Ashland event on Saturday, December 13, 2025, successfully transformed the downtown area, bringing art, music, and community spirit to local businesses. Eleven businesses and organizations — including the Federated Church, The Bagel Table, and Needham Bank — opened their doors to host the performances, community art displays, and special acts that defined the evening. The event was a collaborative effort led by Annemarie's Dance Centre, the Town of Ashland, and Arts! Ashland Alliance. WACA TV Coverage The success of the event ' s success was captured by WACA TV, Ashland's local access station, which was provided on - site providing full coverage. Ashland Special Town Meeting ApproachingASHLAND, MA - Ashland residents are gearing up for the upcoming Special Town Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 19th at 7:00 PM at the Ashland High School. The meeting will address several important topics, including financial decisions, community issues, and bylaw changes. Key agenda items include funding for a water main project and a feasibility study for Waushakum Pond. Free childcare will be provided for families with young children.Additionally, the town is excited to welcome two new businesses: Chase Bank and Future Masters Chess Academy.
