Ch. 15 - Halftime Shows
From Bruno Mars to Michael Jackson, Rutgers marching band to Roc Nation, U2 to Usher (and Lil Jon??!), the Super Bowl halftime show has been some of the most exciting live television moments of our time. We remember our most iconic halftime performances (Prince in the Miami Rain, Janet and Justin's "wardrobe malfunction", Rihanna's platforms and pregnancy announcement) as well as break down which throwback Usher songs we think are definitely getting played in Las Vegas when the Chiefs and Niners take a break. Drop your favorite halftime performance in the comments!

Ch. 10 - The Lion King
Oh, I just can't wait to be talking about the greatest movie, arguably, of all time (and the #1 pick in our 1994 Movie Draft episode), Disney's animated classic "The Lion King". From a mandatory Serengeti-wide formation to an evil brother plotting regicide with hyenas to your two new best buds helping you cope through grief and loss by disassociating, this award-winning film had something for all of us. Set to music written by Tim Rice and Elton John, the movie's soundtrack sold 4.9 million copies in 1994 alone. Also, some controversy about plagiarizing Kimba the White Lion. Ch. 8 - Power Rangers

Which Ranger was the best or your favorite? Which Ranger had the best weapon? What was scene stands out to this day? Answer in the comments. Ch. 6 - Holidays
"Honestly, I think Thanksgiving is like Christmas Jr." We dive into the best traditions we remember during holidays, including what kinds of food we'd eat, messing up the cranberry sauce as a kid, mashed potatoes vs rice and whether you should toss out turkey altogether (for Prime Rib!). There's also non-food talk about taking your kid trick-or-treating for the first time, how Halloween songs differs in American Samoa, how no one gets to rest on Memorial Day, greatest gifts and more. Ch. 5 - Daytime TV
"Get these guys an Emmy or something! Ain't nobody messed up, nobody missed a beat." We stayed home sick sometimes and once the parents left for work, we made our way to the living room to commandeer the television set. But the cartoons and kids shows of the afternoon were still hours away, so we had to navigate the channels of soap operas, daytime talk shows and product-filled gameshows! We dive into the history of soap operas (why they're called "soaps"), the differences between Jerry Springer and Maury and bidding strategies for The Price is Right. Ch. 4 - PlayStation and Xbox
"This is the realest (Role Playing Game). I only get one shot at this." Before video games were plugged into your TV's HDMI port they were instead housed on Channel 3 using these red and yellow audio/video wires. A time when wrinkled cheat code sheets were worth their weight in gold, and where we championed noble heroes, respawning soldiers and deadbeat dads alike on conquests around their virtual worlds or maps. We find out that being alive for the beginning of online gaming has been both a blessing and a curse lol. Join us as we talk through which gaming system we preferred, the best console-exclusive games we played growing up, whether Call of Duty lobbies were really THAT bad, and much more. Ch. 3 - Pokémon
"For people our age, Pokémon was a catastrophic event." When we were kids, we trained and evolved monsters in a quest to become a Pokémon Master. We followed Ash Ketchum and Pikachu out of Pallet Town and into the Halls of the Pokémon League decades later. From waiting a week to watch a new episode of the TV show, to grinding through all the subsequent Nintendo video games, to trying to figure out how the trading card game worked, we talk about everything we remember during PokéMania. And also some Yu-Gi-Oh and Digimon dives! Ch. 2 - WWF and Pro Wrestling
"Why would a chop do that much damage?" We envisioned ourselves flying off the top ropes, defeating our enemies and raising the Heavyweight Championship while witnessing the rise of the WWF through superstars and legends like The Rock, The Undertaker, Trish Stratus ahem- We connected with cousins and new friends through choreographed tag team walkouts, practice submission maneuvers and Pay Per View retellings from the one kid who watched it. We enter the squared circle to reminisce about our favorite wrestlers, the divas we'd fight people for, finishing moves that would actually work and whether we'd take a Bronco Buster or a Stink Face. Ch. 1 - Show Intro & Myspace
"There (was) nothing more vital to our digital upbringing than Myspace." We introduce ourselves and the purpose of this podcast (nostalgia and posterity) before diving into the first viral social media platform the world had ever seen: Myspace, a place for friends. We go through Myspace's history, from its creation in August 2003 to Facebook overtaking it in 2009; how it first taught us to navigate the internet and social currency in the 2000s; and internet security measures (that we learned the hard way) that have become ingrained into our daily lives. Also featuring #FlightNightSamoa #PagoPagoIntlAirport #TafunaHighSchool #Friendster #SchoolMoo #ComputerLab #Catfished #TilaTequila #Top8 #CustomBackgrounds #AboutMe #TwitterJail #VoteOrDie #CrazyInLove #OnTheRunTour #GeorgeW #IraqWar #AmericanWedding #HugTheBell #SamoaSamoa #BoardOfEducation #NoraJones #TheMarshallMathersLP #GetRichOrDieTryin #HamburgerHelper. If you have any comments or nostalgic topics to consider, email us at [email protected].
