    TAP BACK INTO YOUR HUNGER

    CHANGE REQUIRES MOVEMENT

The first time I was fired from a job, I realized I had two choices: I could either learn from the experience and grow, or I could stay stagnant and unchanged. Initially, I chose to remain still, but this only caused me more pain. Over time, I came to understand that I needed to move forward and continue evolving as a person. This process of growth and learning is something we all experience multiple times in our lives. I encourage you to listen to this story - perhaps you or someone you know can find it relatable.

    Effort is key in life

One of the most important things in accomplishing goals is giving maximum effort. Sometimes we think 50% can get us by and although sometimes it might be just enough, it won't cut it. In life our biggest wins come when we leave it all out on the field of play. Let's Go, enjoy this pod and drop me a comment.

    You Don't have Imposter Symdrome

There's never going to be a perfect time

There’s no such thing as “The perfect moment” to take an opportunity. Life tends to show or present great opportunities when we least expect them. Shoot, I know I’m guilty of both! I’ve taken some opportunities that have given me a lot more than I could expect and I’m better for them. I’m sure many of you struggle with the same things. Enjoy this episode of the pod and make sure to follow while also leaving some feedback.

IT'S NECESSARY FOR MEN TO CRY

All of my life I've been told that real men don't cry. Heck, there's even a famous song by "The Cure" called "Boys Don't Cry." Regardless of the meaning of the song, I think in 2024 I've learned the truth is the opposite. Crying has helped me mature and broaden my horizons as they say. It is not mandatory but after several life lessons, I've learned that real man are able and willing to show emotions. Listen in and let me know what you think! Let's Go.

My first ever live college book read

After a few years of publishing my book, We Are Not Born Failures. I mustered the courage to do a live read at a University. Thanks to a few professors and friends, I was invited to go speak at my alma mater California State University Northridge, CSUN. The experience was unique since I had never participated in a live read before. The end result was a great talk with Profesor Jocelyn Duarte from the Central American Department on what it's like to be a Salvadoran American working as a sports journalist. Enjoy!

    TRUST THE PROCESS

Life is about the journey, not the destination. With that being said, you have to "TRUST THE PROCESS." Perhaps one of the biggest challenges we face in life. Easier said than done if you ask a lot of people who've succeeded in life.
