We Are Warriors

Podcast Introduction: We Are WarriorsHello, everyone, and welcome to *We Are Warriors.* I'm Melissa Haines,  I'm bringing you a podcast that is more than just words—it’s a movement, a mission, and a community bound by strength, resilience, and hope.*We Are Warriors* was born out of something deeply personal—a calling rooted in my experiences, and a shared desire to help others find their own path toward healing. Before we dive into this journey together, let me tell you a little about myself. I am a survivor—of child abuse and domestic violence. My childhood was marred by the absence of love, safety, and belonging. I felt invisible, unheard, and too often, I was lost in a storm of neglect and pain. These experiences shaped how I viewed myself, relationships, and the world around me. As I grew older, I found myself in a relationship that seemed to offer what I had always sought—connection, care, and security. But the reality was far from what it seemed
