I’m a 3rd year at Penn State from North Jersey! I chose Penn State because of the community and conservatory training inside of a big university.     Rider w/ Deven Dashawn Lawrence

    From getting the email in the middle of a one-act competition to a quick refresher of seventh-grade geography, Trace and Ashley talk with Deven Dashawn Lawrence, a freshman at Rider University. Deven Dashawn Lawrence is a freshman Musical Theatre Major at Rider University! Home being Houston, Texas, he brings the southern charm to the New Jersey area. His most recent show credit being in Rider’s Freshman Showcase- Curtains up: Anticipation! Though when he’s not performing, Deven is big into fashion, cooking and instilling anything he can into the next generation through teaching!

    Shenandoah w/ Emily Adams

    From considering Cracker Barrel proximity in your college decision to dancing in the MTI Junior choreography videos, Trace and Ashley talk with Emily Adams, a junior at Shenandoah University.Emily Adams is a Musical Theatre (BFA) and Dance (BA) Major at Shenandoah University! When not on stage or in class, she loves pursuing her love of Choreography. On campus, she is the President Of Alpha Psi Omega, the Vice President of the SUrreal Choreography troupe, and an active member of Sigma Rho Delta. Some of her favorite credits include: THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (Janet U/S; Swing), ANASTASIA (Anya), LEGALLY BLONE (U/S Pilar, Margot, Enid; Swing; Dance Captain). When shes not working, Emily can be seen cooking and baking, reading, and spending time with her friends!

    Elon w/ Ella Davison

    From recording your prescreens with mono to showcasing your pet axolotl, Trace and Ashley talk with Ella Davison, a sophomore at Elon University. Ella is a sophomore Music Theatre major at Elon University. She is originally from Houston. She was recently seen in the Fall production of Legally Blonde and will be a part of the Merrily We Roll Along in the Spring. Beyond performing, she is a huge animal lover and is working on her personal trainer certification!

    Pace w/ Dawson Blackburn

    From the best cookies in NYC to getting accepted to your dream school moments after totaling your car, Trace and Ashley talk with Dawson Blackburn, a junior at Pace University. Dawson is a Junior Musical Theater at Pace University this year! He is originally from just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. Dawson was just recently in Pace’s production of Big Fish (Zachy Price) and has performed throughout NYC! He is also a campus tour guide and the Sands College of Performing Arts Liaison at Pace’s Welcome Center. Along with all of these things, Dawson is the biggest Snoopy lover on the face of the earth.

    Boston Conservatory w/ Brielle Diaz Withers

    From your viral TikToks getting you a 54 Below gig to being responsible for 900 light cues, Trace and Ashley talk with Brielle Diaz Withers, a sophomore at the Boston Conservatory. Brielle Diaz Withers is a sophomore musical theatre major at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music. She is originally from the Hudson Valley in New York. Brielle has been doing theatre for as long as she remembers. Some of her favorite credits include Donna Sheridan, Reno Sweeney, Wednesday Addams. Brielle takes pride in knowing quite literally everything about Broadway and its celebrities

    Baldwin Wallace w/ Ty Ford-Everett

    From choosing Chicago Unifieds over Paris to having two too many Targets, Trace and Ashley talk with Ty Ford-Everett, a freshman at Baldwin Wallace University. Ty is a freshman at Baldwin Wallace University from Savannah, Georgia! He has been performing for several years and is ready to continue for life! Recent credits include; Jesus Christ Superstar(Baldwin Wallace), Grease(Savannah Theater), The Prom(Savannah Arts Academy). Ty is also a winner of the American Traditions Vocal Competition and enjoys writing music!

    OU w/ Trace Burchart & Ashley Woytal

    From the best cheese fries in Norman to the perfect Rent audition song, Trace and Ashley share their own college audition stories and showcase the University of Oklahoma. Trace Burchart is from Tulsa, OK, and is a junior at the University of Oklahoma studying musical theatre. He loves baking cookies, shopping at Trader Joe’s, and beating his friends at Clue. Some of his favorite performance credits include Jersey Boys, Assassins, and Seussical. Ashley Woytal is from Kalamazoo, MI, and is a junior at the University of Oklahoma studying Musical Theatre. She loves scary movies, her cat Peach, and reading her friends’ tarot cards. Some of her favorite performance credits include Little Shop of Horrors, Rent, and Spamalot.

    TCU w/ Reese Buchert

    From Dallas bagel shops to alpaca farm sitting, Trace and Ashley talk with Reese Buchert, a junior at Texas Christian University. Reese Buchert is a Junior at Texas Christian University who is pursuing her B.F.A. in Theatre with an emphasis in Musical Theatre. She is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reese has appeared in productions of Footloose (Rusty) Crazy For You (Irene) with Bigfork Summer Theatre, Les Miserables (Cosette, alongside Trace Burchart as Marius!) with Theatre Tulsa, and The Little Mermaid (Ursula) with Jenks Productions. Beyond performing, Reese loves painting, playing the piano and being outside.

    From teaching the sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta about Aaron Tveit to trusting sweatshirt-purchasing intuition, Trace and Ashley talk with Lanie Walsh, a junior at the University of Alabama. Lanie is a current junior BFA Musical Theatre Major at the University of Alabama, but will always be a Philly girl at heart! She loves drinking coffee, listening to Taylor Swift, and rewatching Glee. Some of her favorite credits include Footloose, Titanic, Mamma Mia, and Clue: On Stage.

    UMiami w/ Max Ilan

    From singing revolting children at a burrata farm abroad to making small talk with Richard Maltby at the urinal, Trace and Ashley talk with Max Ilan, a senior at the University of Miami. Max Ilan is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major at the University of Miami. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, he has been performing his entire life. By the time Max graduates in May, he will have appeared in six productions at the University of Miami. After graduation, he plans to move to New York City to continue pursuing his career.
