Having realistic expectations is key to understanding new technologies. Similar to how there is no official day where the internet went from obscure computer toy for nerds to being considered "mainstream," this new technology that is growing faster than the internet is on pace to shock most people who aren't paying attention. It's estimated that this new technology has roughly 100 million users, which is a tiny fraction of the total population. And yet, this disruptive innovation is already the 12th largest asset on the planet, and is being championed as the asset of the future by the most powerful organizations on the planet.
