What Children Know

What Children Know is an audio documentary and musical mixtape recorded on Wurundjeri country, capturing the moments when children speak what is deeply profound, without knowing they have named it. I believe children can access a kind of truth that is often lost in the adult worlds of politics and bureaucracy. This project began with a simple desire: to listen to children had to say.Told across three mini-episodes - Resistance and Why We Do It, Earth and How to Love It, and Growing Forward  - the series gathers the wisdom of young people speaking with imagination, philosophy, humour, and wonder. Recorded across rallies, drama classes, music camps, and living rooms, their voices are thoughtful, curious, and unafraid to question the world around them.Blended with six original songs exploring themes of peace, identity, and compassion, the podcast moves between chaos and tenderness, protest and play.<
