Valissa, who has worked with Madonna, Karl Lagerfeld and Deepak Chopra, reveals the keys to her success and how she found her way down this multifaceted career path.

SPX artist and mechanical-puppeteer technician, Caleb Schneider, joins Meagan to go behind the scenes of the heavy, often intricate builds of some iconic pieces included in The Chronicles of Narnia, Candy, Interview with a Vampire, and many more notable projects. They talk the fun of the job, the lack of security in the industry and his advice for someone starting out.

From Toronto to La La Land, film and television makeup artist, Scotia Boyd, has faced her share of adversity while building a successful career. She sits down with Meagan and Vivienne to talk through some of the tougher moments and explain why there was nothing that could derail her from her goals.

Spanning from working in fashion with Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren to her film work on Pirates of the Caribbean and Hunger Games, Makeup artist and Department Head Kris Evans knows what it takes to succeed. She has endured a multitude of professional challenges throughout her 40 year career, and she's still thriving as one of the best in the industry. Listen in as she joins Meagan and Vivienne to reveal the key to her success. Guest Bio: Kris Evans, award-winning designer, and makeup ar9st began her professional career in New York City working with Barbara Walters, travelling the globe, mee9ng world leaders, presidents and major film stars. All the while, Kris was working with top designers in both Paris and New York including Thierry Mugler, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Sonia Rikiel, Norma Kamali and Halston for both runway and editorial. Her work has appeared in publica9ons including Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair, French Vogue, Marie Claire and L’Officiel Paris. In the world of film and television, Kris’s experience is extensive. She has worked with Bob Costas as his personal stylist at the Summer and Winter Olympics from Salt Lake City 2002 to Rio 2016. Other TV credits include One Upon A Time, Big Sky and Genera9ons. She has been responsible for the design and execu9on of many features films including Con Air, Coyote Ugly, Na9onal Treasure, Dr DoliZle II and X Men 3 The Last Stand for which she received a Hollywood Film Fes9val Award for Best Make-up. Other credits include Pirates of the Caribbean One, Two and Three as well as four Hunger Games. Recently Kris just completed Francis Ford Coppola’s most recent film Megalopolis as Assistant Makeup Department Head. Kris is a member of The Academy of Mo9on Pictures Arts and Sciences, BAFTA and the Television Academy.

Meagan takes the pod solo to sit down with SPFX Artist and fellow FaceOff Alumni, Meg Wilbur. Meg tells us the story of her stumbles, fumbles and falls that built her the strength to pave her own road to success. From being a self taught artist, to rubbing up against the corporate structure of Disney, to many mis-starts and becoming a student of FaceOff, Meg shows that a little competitive spirit and grit can get you far in this industry.

Meagan and Vivienne we're lucky to sit down with the man behind the IMATS curtain, Michael Key. Michael is an award winning makeup artist who has developed and run the IMATS for over 25 years. He lets us in on how it all began, and his tricks to weather any storm in the beauty industry.

Linda takes us through the remarkable moments of her career where she attributes luck, passion for the craft, discipline and being at the right place at the right time as being the passageway to her success.

He’s worked with some of the most prominent names is the heat of the fashion industry, including Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Heidi Klum. Rick offers us the keys to his longevity in this ever changing industry, and tells us how social media has had a negative impact on the culture.

Meagan and Vivienne are joined this week by Eryn Krueger Mekash, the madam of special effects. Serving as department head too many notable TV series and films in the Horror genre, Eryn offers up advice on being a woman in this male dominant industry. She talks her long term collaboration with Ryan Murphy, stepping into a producer role, the lack of POC special effects makeup artist and how she and her husband Mike Mekash balance working together.

Meagan and Vivienne are joined by top tier industry hair stylist, Raissa Patton. Raissa reveals her view on how Artist's misunderstand what the union is really for, and how as a single mother and artist she has navigated challenging times in the industry and economy. She also offers tips and tricks she has used on such sets as Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America, Key and Peele and Entourage. You'll be surprised to learn what she can do with an airbrush.

Howard Berger, The modern day Godfather of special effects makeup, joins Meagan and Viv to talk through how he leads with trust, offering other artist a space to develop their own methods as well as big opportunities to co-head departments beside him. He walks us set by step, through the application process of some of his most iconic makeups. Howard explains how his wife, who is a fine artist, has been a critical part of fine tuning his discipline. He offers up his opinion on why the latest generation of young artist coming in struggle to solve problems and how that has negatively impacted the entire industry. Mega fashion and editorial Makeup Artist, James Vincent, joins Meagan and Vivienne to talk about his unconventional road to becoming a master of his craft. He talks his pitfalls on the business end, Uncle Sam was not happy with him, to his continued passion for educating and creating art with social purpose.
