Double Stress. The Daily Struggle of Two Children with Disabilities

In our final episode of Women's History Month, my friend Taylor opens up about the hardships of being a parent. Those who are parents know how hard it is not just to be a parent of one child but how much harder it is to parent two children. Well Taylor talks about the difficulties of not only raising two children but raising two children with disabilities. The struggles her and her husband go through daily and how they get through everyday with society, school, and holding it together is quite a story you need to hear.

When an Accident Tests Your Marriage

In this very emotional episode, my friend Erica brings her blog post to life for the first time and talks about her struggle with a trying time in her life. When an accident completely changes her husbands life, their marriage is pushed to the limits. For the first time publicly, Erica shares about the trials and tribulations her husband and her have had to go through and what keeps them going strong every day.

I Think I Am An Alcoholic

Being perceived for years as a "good girl" my friend Sarah wanted to shed that image and become someone else. Little did she know it would send her down a path of self destruction but also down a path of self discovery. This is her story of how she had a little too much fun in life and had to fall (literally) in order to find herself.

When Meditation Fails, Time to Try an Untested Way of Living

To celebrate International Women's Day and Women's History Month, I made it a point to only have women on my podcast this month. Today being International Women's Day, I am releasing my next episode with my friend Carmen who suddenly saw her process of dealing with stress and anxiety no longer working so she chose to change course. Being a pioneer in an alternative approach, we discuss what she tried, how it has helped, and how her experience might help change the future.

    Depression Can Impact Us All

Sat down with my long time friend from middle school Drew to discuss the mental hardships many of us go through and how rough it is out there sometimes. No one is alone in this world and we just wanted to share about our tough times and how we got through them. It was the first podcast and the last 5 minutes cut out on the video feed so please excuse the abrupt cutoff.
