Who better to close out Season 1 of Who’s in My Chair? than our very own artistic intellectual, @amandaseales? This truth-telling soldier is always right on time. Even though we recorded this episode back in winter, our conversation couldn’t be more relevant to the current unraveling of our raggedy democracy.@amandaseales  has taught me the power of nuance — something I’ve consistently learned from Black women like her. It’s reshaped the way I see not just myself, but us as a community❤️🖤💚. And in this era of hyper-individualism and emotional detachment, that perspective is more urgent than ever.The real genius✨ Amanda took her master’s in African American Studies and fused it with her natural gift to entertain, creating an entire genre of her own making.
