In the second part of the Win Twice trip to Amarillo, Texas, the co-hosts pay a visit to Terry Funk's Wrestlefest, a show put together to honour the contributions to professional wrestling of the perpetually middle aged and crazy one. Does the show do the legend the justice he merits when all was said and done?

Ahead of the co-hosts review of Terry Funk Presents Wrestlepalooza, it seemed appropriate to pay homage to the man himself. A legend in every respect, Funk blazed a trail through this industry in a way that set him apart from his contemporaries. With Holly being unfamiliar with the body of his work, how will she feel once this episode is in the books?

To say that this show was unlike any the co-hosts had put up for review up to this point would be a colossal understatement. Yes it is an episode of WWF Superstars but the venue just so happens to be the USS Intrepid and the entirety of the even revolves around one very specific challenge. Buckle up everyone!

A first for the co-hosts as they take a trip back to 1991 to explore the aftermath of the Savage/Miss Elizabeth wedding reception on an episode of WWF Superstars. Always pleasing to see Macho Man in all of his pomp, but the wedding cake was far from the only thing in tiers when all was said and done.

The co-hosts return to their journey through the NXT Takeovers with R:Evolution. So far the Takeover shows have delivered with respect to entertainment value and this iteration would hold even higher standards given the emerging talent on showcase.

A massive Wrestlemania card littered with stars up and down the booking sheet. Not only that, perhaps one of, if not THE greatest Wrestlemania main events in history. A well trodden path for one of the co-hosts, but this is Holly's first exposure to the full event.

Love him or hate him, he will forever be associated with the industry of professional wrestling.

With Holly on the hunt for a shorter show to get stuck into and having enjoyed the first episode more than she had anticipated, this made for an easy choice. Would Evolve continue to build upon their first offering?

An unaired pilot from the WCW archives recently surfaced on YouTube named Festival De Lucha. Given the co-hosts are always open to viewing a wide spectrum of wrestling forms, this seemed like a good opportunity to dip their toes into the Lucha Libre pool. Both Scott and Holly enjoy cruiserweight wrestling so who would have thought this show would have been received like a turd in the punchbowl.

Staying with the Saturday Night's Main Event theme, this edition sees the co-hosts treated to a Bavarian festival, with Wieners and Schnitzels for all. Arguably the most fun outside of the ring shenanigans in any show that has been reviewed thus far on the podcast. Fortunate really as the in-ring portion was not pulling its weight.

Having previously covered the first special event held within the developmental group and what would prove to be the precursor for the future Takeover events in NXT Arrival, would the black and gold brand continue to build momentum with this showing?

With the landscape of the WWE archived footage recently having shifted, the co-hosts bring us to the tail end of 2024 and the return of Saturday Night's Main Event. The timing of the return being months after the originals were brought to the table for dissection is merely coincidental no doubt. Most importantly though, Jesse Ventura is back in the fold so it was never in any doubt that Holly would pick this show.
