    Gender IS A Religion

I was blessed to meet Alice at a protest in March 2025. She was shooting film photography and i initially was drawn to her style. I also was interested in bringing Alice onto the team as one of our photographers. As I would get to know Alice i would learn that she is still in college and trans with a community of people supporting her. Alice wanted to come on Womanhood Unfiltered to share her experiences as Trans-Woman. If you learn anything from talking with Alice -- its okay to be different and you should always dare to be bold. The moment you stop looking at gender as a sexuality but, more of an ability to express yourself you can find freedom. Alice is an absolute rockstar and has so much love, creativity, and music to share with the world. Alice wants people to focus more on what you have going on inside of your heart -- than somebodies' appearance because it's not really any of your business anyways. Much Love, Willow

    Louie & The Dictator

Lisa Bournelis is a mom, taekwondo black belt, healthcare change consultant, and former humanitarian aid worker. She has served all over the world, from Africa to the Balkans to Afghanistan. Inspired by her child's experiences with OCD during the pandemic, she wanted to uplift children struggling with anxiety during this extraordinary time, by showing that they are heroes of their own stories, and by sharing a hopeful message that adjustments to the way we think can transform our circumstances. Louie's world is getting smaller with each passing day. An authoritarian mastermind has set out to control his every move. To make matters worse, there is an unknown virus infecting the world, forcing everyone to lock down in their home. Playdates, soccer games, and even his birthday party are cancelled! Outside the confines of his room lies a world of darkness: the calamitous cracks, the rock of evil, the steps of doom. Even the food and air are poisoned. As the Dictator continues his onslaught, Louie worries he will be imprisoned forever in the solitude of his home, with only his Tales of King Arthur and his anxious rescue pup, Baily, for company. Louie's dreams of living an ordinary day are shattered when his beloved Baily is lost in the forest. With the Dictator and his dark forces closing in, will he muster the courage to face his fears, lead a rescue, and bring his furry friend home? The Hooptamist - Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor To Hula Hoop Fanatic

Christine is a 46-year-old woman who lives in the beautiful beach community of Penticton British Columbia, Canada. She has lived her entire adult life learning to cope with the effects of a traumatic frontal lobe brain injury that she acquired in a horrible motor vehicle accident when she was 16. In the accident one of her best friends tragically lost her life and two girls were left with severe traumatic brain injuries. She was comatose for 77 hours and when she awoke, she couldn’t speak and was trapped in a brain that would never be the same again. She was endlessly told by doctors and lawyers that she would never hold down a job or relationship. That she would essentially be trapped in her 16-year-old brain forever. She has now been employed at the same place for 26 years and is celebrating 23 years of marriage and 28 years together with her husband. A year later she met her partner who coincidentally also refuses to grow up and together they have built a life full of fun, compassion, generosity and volunteering in their community. Christine loves physical fitness but cannot stand going to the gym! So, when she discovered a passion for hooping, she literally ran with it. She likes to think of herself as a self-proclaimed “Hooptamist” When asked what a Hooptamist is she will tell you, “A Hooptamist is someone who knows that they can master any move if they practice 100 times twice a day for 2 weeks”!
