    Episode 6: New Girl Era

Did you get a new job and become the hot new girl at work? Are you hot new mom figuring things out in your diapers and witch hazel pads? If so, this episode is for you! We lowkey did our big one on the work advice segment; possibly our best work yet. Mal actually prepared for this episode for the first time ever... if this was a paid gig she would be getting a raise. In this episode, we share tips that made us successful in our new jobs that both of us started relatively recently (and fun fact, Mal started her job when she was 5 months pregnant). Then we talk about our experiences as new moms and share our thoughts about avoiding comparison and feeding judgment, rejecting rigid birth-plan expectations, trusting your instincts and relationships with your partners. We close with Chronically Offline where we talk about Alex Cooper vs. Alix Earle, Masters Tournament drama, and Justin Bieber’s Coachella set. Thanks for tuning in! Leave us a review! Episode 5: Hot Girls and Benefits (Part 2)

This episode is purely a yap sesh with zero workplace advice, so enter at your own risk. We welcome back Mal and in the middle of recapping the 401k convo with John, we detour into the future of AI and Mal's Barbie Dreamhouse - believe it or not, these two topics are related. Then we discuss finding hobbies as moms and the gatekeeping ladies/bridge trolls of each hobby. We also talk about school conferences and developmentally appropriate kid behaviors (guess which one of the cousins is a biter). In Chronically Offline, we discuss the cancellation of The Bachelorette, the Afroman lawsuit, and give you homework to read up on Zara Larsson’s rebrand.00:00 Benefits Discussion Recap01:16 Our AI Future06:09 People Who Rich the Right Way11:07 Next Episode Teaser12:28 The Struggle with Mom Hobbies27:01 School Conferences33:38 Chronically Offline: Bachelorette, Afroman, and Zara Larsson52:03 Wrap Up

Episode 4: Hot Girls and Benefits (Part 1)

This week we have celebrity guest John in the hot seat to break down workplace benefits and his best non-expert tips for 401k management (really exciting stuff, right?). We start with a rapid-fire “good benefit or bad benefit” game to discuss common misconceptions around workplace benefits, and then John gets into his best practices for easy 401k management. This episode is probably best for the girlies who are newer to investing and 401ks; you'll have to talk to the bro podcasters if you want to go deeper. We end with some fun topics like terrible children’s books and parents having “favorite” kids at times.00:00 Welcome and John’s Career Story05:23 Hot Girls and Benefits Game15:59 401k Basics and Terms20:09 401k Tips34:56 Budgeting Tools Tips36:36 Big Deal or Little Deal: Terrible Children's Books41:23 Favorite Child Debate45:13 Closing Thoughts

Episode 3: She Has Receipts (Documentation)

We're back with our deep dive into documentation at work. We break down five documentation strategies (real-time timestamping, objective note-taking, pattern tracking, and celebrating wins). Lacey shares how meticulous documentation saved her during an HR investigation and helped her address workplace issues. Then Mal sheds a cute lil tear as we tackle the boundaries between work, parenting, and maybe a third baby—and catch up on what we're watching.Content warning: This episode includes a brief discussion of postpartum mental health struggles and mentions of a tragic case.00:00 Five Tips for Documentation, 23:15 Yap Sesh, starting with: Podcast Feedback and Ratings, 25:59 Mom Talk Segment, 26:26 Third Kid Pros and Cons, 48:19 Chronically Offline, 55:12 Spring Fashion and Shopping Carts, 01:01:49 TV Shows and Book Adaptations

Episode 2: The Gift of Feedback

This week, we’re talking about how top performers handle feedback at work. Then we get into our segments Big Deal or Little Deal (teacher Instagram drama), Chronically Offline (Chinese baddie TikTok + a cheating Olympian trying to win his ex back), some light historical education for Mal, and the shows we’re watching. Leave us a review & send your work questions — next week we'll cover documentation and yap some more.
