We thought about doing something iconic for our 50th episode, but that isn't our style. We decided we are going to talk about a wild and confusing classic WWE storyline that ended with The Undertaker facing off against The Undertaker. Under the direction of "Cowboy" Bill Watts, WCW was in a period that was taking it back to its wrasslin' roots in 1992. While we love the classic WCW wrestling style, we also love watching the ways in which WCW would get in its own way. Cue the Battlebowl. Starrcade 1992 was a perfect example, as it featured Sting, Vader, The Great Muta, Jim Ross, Jushin Thunder Liger, Dustin Rhodes, Jim Ross, Barry Windham, Brian Pillman, Harley Race, and more... and it still stunk.

A lot happened at Wrestlemania 42, from Cody Rhodes prevailing over Randy Orton to Roman Reigns recapturing his title. We break it all down and give our thoughts on the state of WWE in the TKO era.

At Wrestlemania 24, Shawn Michaels had to face off against his idol: The icon Ric Flair. Beating Flair would end the career of a man who inspired him, but the competitor in him couldn't hold back. That story created a Wrestlemania classic.

Andrew has been asking Dusty for a while to show him some good, classic CM Punk so he could learn about what caused the phenomenon. When it comes to NWO-era WCW, there is a lot to make fun of. In an era of black shirts and bad bookings, they actually made a star with storytelling. The cast of characters were perfect, the story was compelling, and if it wasn't for the ending, this would be big time pro wrestling at its best.

In this episode, Andrew breaks down the life and career of Gustav Fristensky, a Czech hero who fought the Nazis and wrestled in the early 20th Century, and Dusty talks about the fate of a kind of promising wrestling promotion out of Las Vegas that employed Sabu, Cactus Jack, Warrior, and Tito Santana, among others. Very rarely can a character who never spoke verbally have a profound impact on people. Sabu talked with his body, and not very many people can say that they did it like him. He was a true handshake between eras in wrestling, and his style lives on in countless wrestlers who are still working today. Plus, he was crazy as all get out. We will miss Sabu.
