Ep. 18 - Feeling Whole and Complete

Ep. 16 - Time for Nourishment

It's important to accept the way you are feeling at the moment so your mind and body have the chance to align. Everyone has a unique balance that is everchanging. It's so important to lean into what is calling to create and maintain such balance. Somedays you may need to add more "Sukha" or flexibility/sweetness, and other days you may need more "Sthira" or structure/strength. Remember to take your time. Ep. 13 - The Sun - Vitality and Enlightenment
Welcome to today's episode! Join our cacao ceremony as we open the space with affirmation and movement. There's a tool we love to add in to our daily practice: mudras! A mudra is a hand gesture that can support our energy flow and connect our mind and body. Jess started practicing specifically with the "Ganesha" mudra to learn more about its connection to increasing self-esteem, self-confidence, and an inner sense of power. We learned by combining such a gesture, along with meshing breath and movement at our own pace can help us to generalize our unique strengths beyond the mat. Ep. 11 - Balancing Stressful Moments with Yoga

Ep. 9 - Filling Up with Abundance

Ep. 6 - Silence, Stillness, and Personal Power
Welcome to today's episode! Grab your favorite beverage, a comfy seat, and listen in to our thoughts about the power of Yin yoga. This style of yoga is often overlooked as a great tool to help us go further inward to energize our intuition and a deep trust for ourselves. Yin yoga goes hand in hand with today's affirmation: to find stillness and mental power. When holding a posture in this form of yoga, you will need to put your focus forward in finding your personal edge. Think of this as though you are settling into comfort and some joy, but also inviting the resistance and tension of the pose. Always back off where you need to and add props to support proper alignment. Choose a safe space and give this yoga style a try! It can really help you to not only release tight muscles, but let go of stored emotions within the body. Be comforted in knowing this is part of the process however that may look like for you. With practice, you may gain new knowledge from your subconsciousness, change your perspective, and even break out of old patterns that no longer serve you. Ep. 4 - Invitation to Intuition
Welcome to today's episode! We chat about honoring your intuition by allowing yourself the time and space to simply be. A powerful, but often overlooked posture called Savasana or "corpse pose" can be one of the most beneficial poses in your daily practice to support going inward. This sort of nourishment you give yourself at the end of a yoga sequence helps us to transition from a "fight or flight" state of mind to a more "rest and digest" state of being. It's easy to skip Savasana, but when we do, we are neglecting to connect to a deeper part of ourselves. Make it a challenge to come into Savasana at the end of your practice.
