You, Me & Design

We’re by no means experts when it comes to gardening, but, think that a lot of the same rules as designing a home, should apply to outdoor spaces. This week we’re planning our garden with you and talking about the trend of garden centres in the UK, Daylesford in particular!

It’s so easy to fall into the trap of designing your home for others or for rare occasions (like hosting Christmas!), rather than for your family, for everyday. This week, we’re sharing why it’s so important to make sure you design and use your home for you, and don’t feel pressured to make decisions based on what others are doing with their homes.

We're back! We took a couple of months off to really think about what we want to share on the podcast going forward - and as I'm sure you can expect - it will mostly involve design! With spring right around the corner, we thought the perfect place to start would be de-cluttering and re-styling for spring. In this weeks episode we're chatting about Christmas decorating. Tinsel trees, viral garland hacks & lots more. We're sipping a new favourite drink using @oakhurstgin - which we've names an 'Orange-mary Fizz'. It's a double shot of gin, topped with freshly squeezed orange juice and tonic, garnished with a sprig of rosemary. Enjoy!

Today on You, Me & Design, we're chatting all things influencers. Discussing myths, misconceptions, income, and the difference between home decor influencers and qualified interior designers. Our cocktail this week is... one part gin, one part pear liqueur, half an orange juiced into the shaker, a sprig of rosemary, shaken over ice, and topped with tonic (served in a coupe, with a dried orange to garnish, if you like). It doesn't have a name, so please try it, and suggest something!
