My cover of "A Thousand Years" – A Song That’s Stayed With Me
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yugadi/tyefnzwy "A Thousand Years" is a beautiful love song by Christina Perri, co-written with her producer David Hodges. It was composed specifically for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and released in 2011. The song captures the timeless feeling of waiting for the one you love and the overwhelming emotion of finally being with them. With its soft piano, emotional lyrics, and Perri’s heartfelt vocals, it is impossible not to love the song. I first heard this song while watching the movie (though I watched it way after its actual release), and it instantly struck a chord with me. I found the song on Spotify and I’m pretty sure I had it on repeat for days. It was completely stuck in my head, and you could catch me humming it all the time. There’s just something incredibly soothing about the melody and the words: “I have died every day waiting for you...” It felt like the kind of love you dream about—patient, deep, and all-consuming. I even sang it during a get-together with my friends, and I was over the moon when they said it sounded amazing. Of course, I’m no professional and I sing simply because I love to. My vocal range can’t quite manage the high notes in this song, but I gave it my best anyway—and that made it all the more special. A Thousand Years has stayed close to my heart ever since. It’s one of those songs that never gets old, no matter how many times you hear it. Every time it plays, it brings back that same warm, fuzzy feeling it did the very first time. Thumbnail

Boats, Rain, and Coffee: My Relaxing Saturday
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yugadi/cfpzjzxn In the cities of today, crowded with skyscrapers and buildings, parks have grown scarce. But this Saturday evening I found myself spending a peaceful and refreshing time in a beautiful park located in Chennai, the Chetpet Eco Park. My friend and I arrived at the park and bought our tickets, which is 25 INR for adults. For those who visit often, there is also a monthly pass available for nature lovers, offering them a chance to enjoy the park at a discounted rate, making it a thoughtful option for regular visitors. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by about 5 cats, lounging around. There were cats almost everywhere in the park, adding to its charm, which I absolutely loved. The park is basically built with a beautiful lake in the centre. So, we strolled along the pathway lined with trees and benches surrounding the lake. The sight of birds perched on the trees, flowers floating around was a sight worth remembering. There is also a cute little bridge across the lake that makes for a great picture spot. A little further from the park area for general public, there is a well-laid jogging track which is only open for the members. It’s a great feature that would attract a lot of fitness and maybe motivate the others begin as well. I mean, who wouldn’t want to start their day with a refreshing walk among the trees? The park also offers fishing activities to enthusiasts for a small fee. We noticed a few ducks waddling beside the lake, busy chasing their food bowls. After taking a leisurely walk, we reached the area where boating activities are organized. We bought our tickets at a price of 118 INR for both, hopped onto one of these boats and paddled along the still water. The reflection of the sky on the water made it feel like we were in a painting. It was a great experience to be paddling over the water under the serene evening sky. Just after we were done boating, it began raining. Luckily, we spotted this cute little rooftop café that had decent menu options at reasonable prices. The café had a decent menu with plenty options that reasonably priced. We ordered two coffees, some French fries, and garlic bread. Since the café was on the roof, it had a protective cover over the seating area. So, we were able to sit safe from the rain with our coffees and enjoy the rain around us. The unexpected rain shower made our park experience even more beautiful. There is also an entertainment area adjoining the cafe, that hosts open-mics. As we were just outside the theatre, we could hear the performances. There is also an aquarium in the park, but it was small and we were unimpressed. However, it still might be an interesting place for little kids. Overall, it was very joyous to spend my Saturday evening at the Chetpet Eco park. The blend of nature and fun activities shared with the right person is a great way to rejuvenate yourself for the next week! The video is a compilation of clips shot on Insta360 Go 3 and iPhone 15 pro, in case you were wondering about the differences in the clarity between the various scenes. And since I'm very new to vlogging, I did not speak much throughout as I felt a bit out of place doing that. Hopefully, I'll be able to do it the next time around.

My take on a timeless Hindi song
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yugadi/owagzapu This is my first time ever doing something like this. I've always loved singing, but recording myself is entirely new territory for me. The song I’ve chosen is a Hindi classic, one of my all-time favorites, called ‘Chura Liya Hai.’ It is a duet performed by two legendary Indian singers Asha Bhosle and Mohommad Rafi. It is quite an old song, released in the year 1973, but it is still lovely as ever. Here are the lyrics of the song with a little bit of explanation : *churaa liyaa hai tum ne jo dil ko nazar nahin churaanaa sanam badal ke merii tum zindagaani kahi badal na jaanaa sanam* The song begins with a woman who addressing her beloved. She says that, although he has stolen her heart, he should never avert his eyes from her. She is asking him to promise her that even though he has changed her life, he should never change himself and forever love her. *bahaar ban ke aauu kabhii tumhaarii duniyaa me guzar na jaae ye din kahii isii tamannaa me tum mere ho, haa tum mere ho aaj tum itanaa vaadaa karate jaanaa* In the next verse, she portrays her wish of entering his world like the spring season, but she also fears her days might slip away merely dreaming of this. She sincerely asks her beloved for a promise, a commitment that he belongs to her and her alone. *Sajaunga loot kar bhi tere badan ki daali ko Lahu jigar ka dunga haseen labon ki laali ko Hai wafaa kya...iss jahan ko mai dikhla dunga Chura liya..Chura liya* In response, her lover promises to give up everything he has to bring joy to her life. He is ready to sacrifice even the "blood of his heart," to adorn her lips, praising her beauty. He speaks of showing the world the true meaning of loyalty and love. I’ve done my best to translate the Hindi lyrics into English. Though, I feel like the deep emotion and beauty of the song cannot be entirely captured in another language. Nonetheless, I hope I was able to give you a glimpse into this timeless classic. Lastly, I would like to thank @bighungrypanda for recording such a beautiful video.

My First Scuba Diving Experience!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yugadi/bkjtzmjt Scuba diving was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had in my entire life. The feeling of being underwater is something so rare that I cannot really put into words but I will definitely try. It’s a surreal experience that is a perfect mixture of an adrenaline rush with tranquillity. But before that, let’s begin from the beginning, because the story of how I got roped into this adventure is quite interesting. So, there’s this institute in Pondicherry that specializes in professional scuba diving, kayaking, surfing and similar water sports. A few years back my boyfriend, with his friends, visited this place and had a kayaking session. The institute people clicked a few cool pictures of them and that was that. However, a few weeks back my boyfriend got a call from his friend visiting Pondicherry saying that he spotted their kayaking pictures at a few places in the town. Basically, the institute was using these pictures, without my boyfriend or his friend’s knowledge for their own advertisements. Naturally, he was furious and he called the institute up. They apologized right away and offered either cash or a free scuba dive for him and his friends as a compensation. My boyfriend being the adventurous type that he is, accepted the scuba diving session in a heartbeat. Now here’s where I got lucky. One of his friends, who was supposed to join, could not make it because he lives abroad. And my boyfriend presented me with an opportunity to scuba dive for free in a silver platter. The excitement I felt at that moment is hard to put into words—I was grinning from ear to ear. I had always wanted to do it, so it was a no-brainer for me, and I was so extremely excited! It felt like a dream come true, and I couldn’t wait to experience what lay beneath the surface of the ocean. My adventure began with a basic preparatory training at the institute. We were asked to wear our wet suits, fins and mask and taken to a metal tank. Here, we were instructed on how the gas cylinders will be tied to our waists, how to breathe under the water through the the oxygen tanks and how to relive the excess pressure that builds up under water by popping our ears. The tank training helped simulate the underwater conditions, giving us a glimpse of what to expect during the actual dive. I also got a certificate that is valid for a year which will allow me to dive directly into the ocean foregoing the training session. Not gonna lie, this was quite scary as it took a while for me to get used to the fact that I’m actually breathe under water and not freak out. One needs to be calm and take slow deep breaths while being under water. I was unable to get the hang of popping my ears initially either. But the instructors were very patient and explained everything well. However, I was still worried that I might be not able to do it properly while under the water. Despite my worries, I kept reminding myself that I had to trust the process and follow the instructions. Moving on, the next morning, around 7 am we were taken to the ocean in a group of 8 people. We were given pills to wade off the seasickness but it did not do much for me. The anticipation of the dive kept me excited, but the constant rocking of the boat made the wait feel excruciatingly long. It took us around 40 minutes to reach the diving spot from the shore and I was extremely seasick the entire time. I just wanted to get off the boat as soon as possible even if the only way to do that was jumping into the water. Since we were all novices, we each had one instructor assigned to us, who’d be diving with us. I had to wait a while till it was my turn. Then, the oxygen cylinders were tied to my waist, I put on the mask and fins and was ready to go. The moment felt surreal—I was about to take my first step into a completely different world. I was instructed to sit on the boat's edge and let my body to drop back into the water. I was held and helped to calm by my instructor. Next, I descended feet by feet beneath the sea with the assistance of my instructor and a guiding rope. I popped my ears every few feet or so to release the pressure. In between, I posed for a few pictures and videos and continued exploring the deep water. I will never forget the absolute silence and calm that I felt being underwater. It felt like I was the only one in existence due to how still the water was. I was surrounded by the beautiful blue ocean completely. Oh, how can I forget about the pretty fish! It was stunning to float beneath the water among the colourful fish. All too soon it was time for us to get out of the water and into the boat. The entire dive lasted about 30 minutes, and it wasn’t nearly enough. At the beginning I was nervous about being under water for so long but once I was in there, I never wanted to come out. Being under water really does tire you out and I promptly fell asleep as soon as I got into the boat. Atleast that saved me from being seasick again! Ive always been in love with the ocean but this experience took it to the next level. Scuba diving was more than just an activity for me; it was a journey of awe and wonder.
