Bones and All - An Unlikely Cannibal Romance
Cannibalism but make it ✨romantic✨. That’s what director Luca Guadagnino impressively manages to accomplish with 2022's Bones and All, starring Timothee Chalamet and Canadian Taylor Russell. While it is technically a romance, there's a good amount of body horror and creepy old guys a la Herbert from Family Guy to balance things out and keep you on your toes.

I'm Batman
The Dark Knight Trilogy will always hold a special place in my comic book loving heart. However, as I've grown older I've realized that the ethics of Batman are a little murky. What Batman really teaches us, is that if you're rich you can do anything and get away with it and you don't even have to go to an island. But if you cast your critical thinking aside, you'll find that these movies are a joy, filled with great villains and cool gadgets like the batmobile, that nothing on the screen has been able to replicate since. Here's a fun fact before you listen to this episode: Tom Hardy is only 5'9" but wore 3 inch lifts to play Bane, which means that his high heels were probably the same height as Catwomans.

Avatar is weird
James Cameron really saw blue man group and thought to himself ‘what if they were hot’? To which my response is - they’re already hot? So interesting to me that he dropped bangers like titanic and aliens then decided he wanted to dedicate the rest of his life to ending racism and to stoke intense dislike against white people with dreads. Honestly, respect.

2025 in Review: 75 Movies
It's clear that the Scorcese movies I watched this year had an influence on this episode, as it's my longest yet. But can you blame me as I tried to cover a personal best 75 movies I watched in 2025? And although my movie average rating was lower than years past, there was still a number of notable watches including bangers such as Good Time, One Battle After Another, The Departed and more. Start your year off right by either agreeing with me fully or yelling at your listening device about how wrong I am. As always, I'd love to hear your disagreements so drop a comment below.

Studio Ghibli/Miyazaki Ranked
Studio Ghibli, led by its visionary director Hayao Miyazaki, have been leading the field in animated movies since its inception 40 years ago. Ghibli films have touched hearts worldwide through their whimsical storylines, memorable characters and for some Westerners, helped kickstart their weird obsession with Japanese culture. According to letterboxd reviews, pretty much all of Ghibli's most popular movies are masterpieces. However, in this episode it's clear that no masterpiece is safe from my ranking of 15 of Ghibli's most popular movies.

Barbie and Product Placement in Movies
Barbie was a smash hit and it's no surprise when the cast is so talented and frankly, so hot. I haven't had this much love for a product since I anthropomorphized my pet mouse when I was 5 years old. In this month's episode, we talk about what makes Barbie so good, how product placement is inescapable for moviegoers and why you should care.
