Not knowing it was the last night we would see her, at the end of May our little Bombay cat Billie walked out into the night and did not return to us. She was the second cat within a year that we lost, and while our time was relatively short together, we went through the ringer in terms of phases of interaction and growth, and we love and miss her tremendously.
