His first set up was 2 Gemini XL 500II turntables and a Vestex PMC mixer. After a year of a minimum of 2 hours daily practice, Dubz knew that this was what he was going to do til the day he dies but also knew that he needed to immediately upgrade his weapons of choice to a set of Technics 1200 turntables and a gold 2 channel Vestex PVC mixer. Now 22+ years later Double.A Beats has earned his stripes and the title of "industry veteran" in the game. Any producer or musician can relate to this, there's no doubt in my mind. You get all fucked up or drunk and then decide to make a new track or remix, knowing damn well that you're currently "Off My Fucking Face" fucked up! And in that moment you're super hyped about it and the way it sounds....and then...you wake up the next morning and listen to it and think to yourself...What the fuck was I thinking!?!? But....there are those rare times where it ends up sounding just as good as you thought it did when you were "Off You're Fucking Face!" This, in my opinion, just happened to be one of those times.
