    Talk About Your Writing

As I start to market my first book, I've been struggling to talk to people about my writing. Like anything, it takes practice to learn how to talk about your work. In this episode, I talk about my next project, a poetic memoir called, A Father at Forty: Poems and Stories. Ironically, it's a collection of poems about ... me and the my experience turning forty. Thanks for listening. I'd love to hear what you're working on!BUY MY BOOKSCo-Teaching with RobotsAmazon.com: Co-Teaching with Robots: Being Human in the AI Assisted Classroom eBook : Lauritzen, Jacob: Kindle StoreA Father at FortyA Father at Forty: Poems and Stories - Kindle edition by Lauritzen, Jacob. I Wrote a Book in Three Weeks. Now What?

At the end of January, I started an ambitious project to write a book in a month. I did it with time to spare. Now as I prepare to keep the project going, I can't decide what to do next.

    Write a Book-a-Month

How fast can you write a book? Can you write one in a month? I'm going to try to find out. If it works, I might make this a normal thing. I am currently taking Michelle Kulp's advice to try to write a book-a-month to build up a catalogue of books to see if I can make a living off of book royalties. It's an experiment so it's messy and it may not work. That's why I call this show, Draft Pages. Thanks for listening.
