Wasn't Just A Bad Dream
This song was made 3 hours ago when I heard about the news that Ben has passed away. This song is dedicated for him and everybody who feed the loss, but especially for Ben and Vanessa who have been a huge inspiration for love and faith. - The lyrics are inspired by words from Ben’s friends and Vanessa herself, added with thoughts of wonders upon our limited understanding about this life. The music was to give the dynamics of humane sadness, faith, love, hope, and in the end peace which hopefully everybody who feels the loss would reach eventually. This song aims to deliver comfort, understanding, and strength over deep grief for the listeners. - Rest in Peace Benedick Suryanata

Driando - Tak Perlu Sempurna (feat. Andino)
This song is written especially for my dad Iwan Ahnan, featuring my awesome brother Sergio Andino Ahnan on drums. One message in this song: I love you unconditionally; while my favorite line is (originally in Indonesian) “the love that you ever planted will last forever.” This piece is intended to deliver my highest gratitude of his extraordinary love of music, which is one of the greatest things in life that has been passed to us. It is because of his talent, dedication, and support that we have this passion about something that lifts us up through harsh time, shares messages of love, captures beautiful life moments — is called music. My dad is a true musician, with all the glory and sacrifices. His life shows a different kind of musician than what we see every day. Through his role as a father, he gives birth and raises new musicians based on not fame or wealth but pure joy passion. Every component of this song resembles every aspect of music that I got from my dad: piano, syncopes, samba rhythm, percussion, double pedals. This is also my first song written on piano — thanks to watching him playing piano daily at home. Altogether, this song is far from enough to express how much my dad has planted this love of music. My basement “studio”, my playlists, and many things are inseparable from him. To my dad: Happy birthday!
