My colleagues will also see me making posts every time during free hours and they're always interested to know what exactly I mean by spending HBD. Of course, those kind of questions are relevant because, no every one know about the blockchain or even crypto payments in general, to that effect I try explaining to them in the simplest way I can. But through personal experiences, I've come to find out that what someone sees with their own eyes is hardly ever forgotten. Today at work, my very good friend and colleague @cheeoma wanted to get some snacks from a nearby restaurant close to our office, which have already been listed to accept HBD. She has a brief knowledge about the spend HBD community and a little about the @distriator. She had her first hand experience from months ago when I invited her to the first HBD workshop in my city. She came around on that day and listened as @fokusnow now explained everything about the new method of HBD transactions, after which she also received her first shopping gift 4HBD from the community. It was then she practiced a whole lot of things including getting her own Hive account, downloading the Keychain app and make her first purchases with HBD. This happened months ago and since then I have been persuading her to keep making more HBD purchases and enjoying some cool cashbacks. Though she always reply affirmatively, she still hasn't gotten the chance to try it out herself. In addition, I've invited her a couple of time to join our @shokin activities, she also haven't gotten a chance to join. However, today when she mentioned she wanted some snacks, I thought it a good idea to take her to one of the listed restaurants nearby to get them since we have quite finished work for the day. Getting there, we ordered some ice-cream and meatpie to chill with. Now it was time to pay for the snacks from her Keychain. Thankfully, all her keys were carefully safeguarded as I told her to. She quickly logged in and made her payments which was as smooth as butter. Next up was claiming her discount from the distriator. This one was quite a hassle because she kept having internal server issues which wouldn't let her claim the discounts freely. Even after switching networks, the problem still persisted. As a workaround solution, I decided to let her log into her account from my phone. She added her keys and in no time, discounts were claimed, problem solved. You can literally see her excitement throughout the whole process from the video below. She kept asking a lot of questions, some of which were very funny but it was quite understandable. Hey, did I forget to tell you something? We actually forgot to claim our discounts and upload some picture reviews until after we must have finished all the snacks. It was hilarious when I remembered it after, but still we got our discounts. Anyway, it's was nice mentoring and assisting a newbie who's so excited about knowing how things worked, especially the not-so-regular things. The @spendhbd community is one more people should come to know more about, not forgetting the cool discounts from the @distriator. We will definitely put in more work to keep spreading the word!.

Every week, arrangements are made for us to meet at a said business place to spend HBD. This has been going on for months since we embraced the new era of spending to earn. This journey has been yielding many positive results so far. A lot of people are getting to know about how to enjoy smooth transactions and enjoy some irresistible discounts from the @distriator. A lot of old Hivers who have been inactive for a while are back on their feet happily joining the next big thing. They have been joining us in most of the SHOKiN exercises and now have mastery over paying and claiming discounts without any assistance. More businesses are accepting HBD and are also making their much sales from Hivers who patronize them. All these and many more are some of the good results we've had over a period of time, not so long ago. As the weekend draws near, we all look forward to spending some HBD with friends who are available to join us. Last weekend, we decided to visit @classickitchen restaurant and enjoy some great meals over fun and laughter. It was supposed to be our second visit to the said restaurant but as circumstances may have it, the staff were not ready to receive at the time we were expected to be there. To that effect, a last minute arrangement was made that we make a visit to @lafresh. Another fast food and bakery that also offer some natural juices and smoothies at affordable prices. As usual, the meal ordering session commence and everyone got what they wanted. For me, I was in a hurry but I didn't want to miss the group shopping activity so I decided to order some takeouts and take some pictures with the team. After paying for my food from the keychain app, it was time to claim my discounts. It's quite unfortunate that I still couldn't connect to the distriator server to claim my discounts. Apparently, that wasn't a general problem anymore, I discovered it was from my network connection. After trying so hard to claim with fruitless results, I decided to try with someone else' network and it worked like breeze. I was so happy I didn't miss out on the discounts because that's what we live for right? It was such a nice thing even after the disappointment we had at the first restaurant, we managed to secure another one in no time. Our SHOKiN members were also very supportive despite the change of plans and the inconvenience caused along the way. There quite a lot of us who made the occasion work. We had happy faces like @debbydaniels ,@bummblebee ,@bakinba ,@mesonia,@ngobaby,@fokusnow,@chimary,@sammyhive,@chi-don and @ijebest. The rest of the team got caught with many activities to do so they couldn't join us but hopefully, we know they will definitely make it in the next one. Nobody will like to miss the good meals plus the other incentives involved. This is not going to be the last SHOKiN there will be, in fact, we're just getting started. A lot of people still needs to hear about the spend HBD community and we're all out for the promotion. So let's go people!!!

After my morning routine at home, I prepared to go out for our group shopping activity which we do once every week. Honestly it wasn't so easy getting there and shopping with a group of friends using HBD. We're gaining mastery over it as the days roll by. By the time we were done and I came back,it was already past 6pm and I also had to make dinner. Eating right after, I wanted a lot of rest so I slept for some few hours before waking up to make this post. Thankfully,I was able to clean the streets before I left in the morning and also make a video out of it. Our daily cleaning is something we can never get tired of, because if we don't do it,who will? Very I'll be going back to work so it's best I use the remaining time we'll. I'll be going back to school by next week,and honestly, I don't even feel like going back but what choice do I have then? Today I decided to look into some of my school projects I have for the holidays. I haven't even had the chance to do them and right now they look overwhelming. Thankfully, we've had constant power supply for some time now and that could be all the inspiration I need. After taking care of them,I grabbed a nylon and headed outside and you know what for. You're right! Some cleaning has to be done. The streets were a bit empty because I lot of people have gone out,the neighborhood kids who usually play street soccer are still chilling in their homes, giving me enough room to go about my cleaning business without people here and there. I picked quite some wraps from people who litter the environment. A littter-free environment is something achievable with the right steps like helping to pick up trash from the streets. Let's all work toward achieving that common goal.

I was all home today and I decided to do a little cleaning in the garden, because the wind has gathered a lot of trash both inside the compound and into the garden. There was no way I was going to leave it that way, so some.picking must be done. On the other hand, I think people need to do better littering the environment with all that trash. If there wasn't any in the first place, the wind wouldn't have carried it. Anyways I made sure to pick all the trash I could find and dump it in the trash bucket for a better disposal.
