This incident revealed so many other things.*The protection of black women by black men*How our words affect other people*How untreated trauma can show up*Forgiveness and accountability*Black men supporting & holding up other black men*The emotional suffering women go through when dealing with Alopecia Now, this is what we want to talk about!

Changing the Game with Tasha Colbert of the Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative
Women's History Month!!! Can a woman lead a male-focused initiative that focuses on the total well-being of the man, specifically Black men? With limited resources, support, and programming that address particular issues that directly affect our men, there was a need, and Tasha Colbert answered the call with the support and guidance of many GOATs before HER! There is support for our men! She experienced pain from the loss of her brother to the system due to lack of male-focused support and programming, she became dedicated and committed to every MALE, every FATHER willing to try! We salute you Tasha Colbert for your contribution to our community in a major way!! Lifting our MEN is everything!

Human Trafficking from a counseling perspective. Patrice McBeath
January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month and we decided to offer the insight of a counselor who provides support to Human Trafficked survivors. What is NOT obvious in plain sight would be consistent with our messaging on bringing awareness and education to ourselves and the audience, with hopes of ONE LESS trafficker. Prevention! We pray and believe that we are a village together, THRIVING after abuse. Thank you, our sister Patrice McBeath.
