Exposing My Drafts

It has been more than four years since I posted on this podcast. But in the truest essence of what I wanted to do here, this is a draft audio note from when I was going home from my college in Mumbai, for the last time ever. It has almost been a year since this happened and listening to it made me feel like I was back in my beautiful apartment with all its french windows and all the traffic right outside it :) I hope it brings you as much comfort as listening it it after a year brought me.

TW: mentions of Covid-19, death.  This is not an attempt to aestheticise what is happening all around us. Just a rough dump of all that's going through my head these days. Also, on a lighter note this is quite literally the first draft of this write-up, and because the sound of my own voice is abhorrent to me, I refuse to listen to it again. this one is slightly more messy than most, but ah bear with me, I'm on edge.

Huge shoutout to Tia, Arushi, Sharat, Saishaa, Bhavya, Prabhpreet and Navya (appearing in that order) for being in this recitation of "The New Normal". The pandemic has been hard hitting on all of us, some more so than the others. It's important in times like these to stick to the ones you love, and "hope that you get out of this, if not better but right how you started".

I didn't even double check the recording, partly because I have absolutely no expectations from myself, partly because I'm lazy. But I hope you enjoy this oh so generic "unrequited love" spoken word. Apologies, in advance.
