Global Regulation of American Speech
This week, William breaks down the European Union's Digital Services Act. At first glance, it sounds like a perfect proposal: remove illegal content from the internet. However, what is "illegal" in one nation may well be an unalienable right in another, so today, we talk about how this Act affects you, what precedent could be set, and how God calls us to represent ourselves during uncertain times. The FACEs of America
The Department of Justice recently released a report on the enforcement of the FACE Act between 2021-2024: the DOJ found that the Biden administration used the FACE act to target anti-abortion activists. With this information now public, Will turns to Faith and Freedom Fellow Noah Stambaugh to break down what this means about religious freedom in our country, and where we need to go from here. Who Raises Your Children?
It seems like an absurd question: who raises my children? This week, Will goes back to biblical roots to affirm the divine charge of parenthood; where God assigns duty, he delegates responsibility. In this episode, Will recommends what you can do to support your rights as a Christian parent, discusses why children cannot belong to the state, and why education is never neutral. The 250-Year Pledge
Freedom is not a political arrangement; it is a moral responsibility. This week, as Will leads a field trip to Washington D.C., Faith and Freedom COO Sal Biondo fills in to reflect on America's 250th anniversary. In times such as these, remembering where we started is the first step towards taking responsibility for our future. Thank you for listening. Facilitating Death
What does it say about a society when physician-assisted suicide ceases to become a taboo subject? It means America is in need of a moral renewal. This week, Will tackles this startling reality, what it means about America and our world, and how we can conduct ourselves with grace, even when times are hardest. Thank you for listening. The Family Precedes The State
Does the state know what is best for your children? For your marriage? Some think so. This week, Will explores the rhetorical divide between those who find their purpose in God and those who seek purpose elsewhere. Different worldviews beget different standards, and, in this episode, Will examines how parents (and their children) are getting lost in our modern world... and the way back. Thank you for listening! Let Discipline Be Your Ballast
God puts weight on our souls not to burden us, but to steady us. We need his charge like a ship needs a ballast if we are to remain upright. This week, Will breaks down the biblical call to discipline, why we need it, and why God keeps guiding us back. Thank you for listening! A Classical Education is Not Radical
This week, Faith and Freedom is embracing the classical mantra of "ad fontes" (to the source) and addressing recent criticisms of a classical education. In this episode, Will welcomes Dr. Luke Wagner, Head of School at Fond Du Lac Christian School, to talk about the roots of classical education and why it is so often mischaracterized in the media. Together, they explore the purpose of a classical education, the importance of great thinkers, and how this methodology equips students for the world today Show Links Website: https://www.faithandfreedomcenter.org/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/faithfreedomsau LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/wagner-faith-freedom-center?original_referer= YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Faithfreedomsau X: https://x.com/FaithFreedomsau TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@faithfreedomsau IG: https://www.instagram.com/faithfreedomsau/

Vindication Postponed is Faith Expressed
What do you show when you are challenged, your strength or your faith? This week, Will dives into the topic of faith under fire, and how we are called to follow Christ's example in our most difficult moments... and why the price for immediate vindication is always too steep. Sanctuary without Sanctity
This week, Will returns to discuss the very first issue of the First Amendment: freedom of religion. When peaceful worship is disrupted, the issue becomes constitutional. In today's episode, Will breaks down recent examples of interference with worship, what the constitution says, and how we can look to the Word for guidance in times such as these. When Autonomy Becomes Sovereign
Moral catastrophe does not begin with great evil, it begins with moral disarmament. This week, Will explores the ways freedom is made conditional in the absence of spiritual guidance. How do we walk in faith in a world where truth is wielded as a weapon, and not protected as a value? In this episode, Will explores the relationship between truth, liberty, and power, and the societal need for accountability. Thanks for listening. Guarding the Faith
At every hour, a soldier guards the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This monument, located in Arlington, Virginia, was created to honor the sacrifices of unknown American servicemen in World War I. It has since expanded in purpose, with the tomb - and the constant guard standing sentinel - coming to symbolize the vigilance and sacrifice of those who gave their lives for our freedom. This week, Professor Will Wagner is joined by WFFC fellows Murphy McCool and Roman Kortman to reflect on this, and discuss what we can learn from this example. This week, we talk vigilance, grace, and how to both safeguard and honor the gospel in today's world. The Complexities of Christian Persecution in Nigeria
What is really happening to Christian communities in Nigeria? This week, Will Wagner sits down with WFFC chief operating officer Salvatore Biondo, Spring Arbor University Professor Joseph Solis-Mullen, and Omoneh, a Nigerian student at SAU, to talk through the complexities and roots of one of the world’s most overlooked persecution crises. The conversation looks at Nigeria’s history, the rise of extremist violence, and the demographic and social conditions that leave Christians especially vulnerable, as well as what responsible international engagement and religious freedom advocacy should look like today.
