We try tackling our first TV show! Did it work? Was it too much for one episode of our show? I... really don't know. But it sure was fun to watch Agent Carter with the kiddo!

How will that kiddo feel about the one that reads less like a superhero movie, and more like a 1970s political thriller? Will he like it? Will it go completely over his head? Will he appreciate the nuances and the style of film it is, even though he's seen no antecedents to that type of film? The sequel to a favorite of The Kiddo. Did this one stack up to the first? Does the (frankly) juvenile humor of this film make up for its convoluted plot in the mind of a 9-year-old? There's only one way to find out... and that's to listen to this episode!

One of the most divisive films in the MCU... perhaps the favorite Marvel character of a middle-grade student... which side does the kiddo come down on in Iron Man 3? I'll give you a hint: the reason this kid LOVES Iron Man is because of his many armors. Draw from that what you will, and enjoy this episode!

And we've finally arrived at the finale of our first run of episodes: The Avengers! Still considered one of the greatest entries in the superhero canon, this is an oversized episode completely stuffed with favorite moments and insights from the Kiddo. Hope you enjoy!

Our first sequel! It's 2010's Iron Man 2, still directed by Jon Favreau. There's some good discussion in here - introducing us to one of the kiddo's favorite characters (War Machine), the MCU's first re-cast (also War Machine), and introducing another Avenger (Black Widow).

In our second outing, we watched the MCU's second outing. It's not a terribly long episode... but then, this isn't the most complicated of the MCU movies. The Dad shares some positive thoughts on a less-loved Marvel project, and the Kid shares whether his first real ranking just puts the newest thing first, or if he's got more nuance to his thoughts.
