One of the most vitalizing and raw artists to come out of the 317 is a 26 year old college grad named Franc Blac. Born in Jackson, Tennessee, but raised on the west side of Indianapolis, Franc grew up listening to hip-hip from all corners of the nation. From falling in love with New York's boom-bap beginnings to becoming infatuated with LA's laid-back style, Franc Blac tries to cultivate all of Hip-Hop's fundamentals into his own craft. His top five favorite MC's of all time are Tupac, Nas, Kanye, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar. Starting out at 18, Franc released his first mixtape "Shit Happenz" in the Summer of 2011, following up with "For a Reason" in the Fall of 2013 and then "Everything's Eventual" in the Spring of 2015.
