This poem was written and released by Freedom Speaks over 10 years ago as a public service announcement. After the poem, she provides commentary to explain how this poem does or does not apply to the 2020 pandemic. 

In this Relevant Throwback, Freedom discusses her absolute shock and dismay after watching a documentary on how GMOs and other aspects of the U.S. food supply affect our health. She then goes on to discuss her beliefs about health and wellness. At the time, she had been vegan for about a decade and was becoming pescatarian. She now considers herself to be a flexitarian but will still not touch the swine.
