God said:"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."    -2 Chronicles 7:14

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand.  Psalm 149:6Praise is a weapon on mass destruction in the mouth of the Believer.

Challenges and difficulties are inescapable. Problems will demand your attention, but how you approach them is the pivotal turning point that makes the difference between thriving and struggling.

“With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.”  Isaiah 26:9

When used as God intended, praise is a weapon that invokes the very presence of God.

Jesus said:Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Matthew 11:28When our desires and wants are placed before and above the will of God, we sat ourselves up for failure.

Trouble comes to all; no one is exempt.  Yet, we who trust in God, have a hiding place.  In Him, we can find shelter from the storms of life. "I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.  Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord."    - Psalm 27:13-14

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!   Isaiah 31:1Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the Name of the LORD our God.  Psalm 20:7

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:   -Ecclesiastes 3:1

Setting standards according to the will of God involves aligning our actions, decisions, and values with the teachings and principles found in the Holy Scriptures.  God's way guides us to living a life of integrity, compassion, and purpose.

And He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings: He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:He revealeth the deep and secret things: He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him.  Daniel 2:21-22

Meekness is not weakness, but self under control.Blessed is the meek for they shall inherit the earth, and they shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.   

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.      Without Him, there is no going.      Without Him, there is no knowing.      Without Him, there is not living.              Today, choose God...

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way.         -Psalm 37:23

Victory in the battle begins on your knees.

Meteorologists can help prepare us for incoming storms, but they cannot stop the storms from coming.   There are many things we can do to make our lives more secure, but we cannot prevent troubling times from happening. 

“…all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”  - Romans 8:28 

It isn't easy to forgive those who hurts us, but if we are to emulate Jesus, then we must purpose in our hearts to follow in His footsteps.

Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.    - Isaiah 48:17

Peace without Jesus is transitory; it's short-lived. Whereas peace with Jesus is indefinite; it's never-ending. 

 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

1 Peter 2:9But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light;

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.      - Matthew 24:42-44
