Since the title of this project is “Growing up Atari” let's start with just that, the Atari. The VCS or 2600 to be precise. In 1977, like many my whole world changed with the introduction of the Atari Video Computer System or Atari 2600. It was like having an arcade in your home. Sure the graphics weren't as good as the arcades and not all games had all the levels or worked the same as the arcade versions.But it changed my world forever.
