The first grand campaign in the Arcadia saga, this story of 4 unlikely heroes sets off a chain of events that spans many campaigns and years.Played in 2nd edition AD&D with strong adherence to the original rules. When a character reaches 0hp, they die and their player is removed from the campaign permanently.

    Van makes it to Heatstroke, or at least what remains of it, and begins his investigation with the help of his warriors. They make good headway and manage the get the attention of a powerful being who lives in the area.

    Malakai travels abroad in search of answers regarding Falstaffs staff and tomb. Though he gets waylaid for a lot longer than he bargained for when going to speak with a wise and ancient being.

    Malakai dives deep into his research aboard the wizard airship and finds out some rather interesting things along the way.

    As Van and Malakai further their plans both run into strange distractions along the way, one of a rather dangerous sort and magical in nature, the other a much more human matter. Though in the end both manage to get back on track to some extent.

    Van and Malakai start to put their plan into action, getting everything ready to house the demon they are after. Along the way they make some new friends and encounter an old one they have not seen in a long while.

    Malakai wishes to expand his library, but things take a strange turn of events as he instead finds himself on an adventure in a completely new environment.

    Malakai starts to properly settle into life at Bon’Theris, making connections, purchasing property and other such matters, all while trying to keep up his good reputation and not let slip some of the less savory things he might have done back in Eridon.

    Van and Malakai flee the aftermath of the battle, grabbing whatever they can and attempting to make their way for greener pastures.

    The party gathers themselves in Shirebrook after Malakai’s close encounter with the shadow dragons and decide where to go next. Thornwood looks lost and they decide instead to head to the next town over and so the battle of Misty Rapids begins.

    Malakai is rather suddenly visited in Aldric’s tower by none other than Lord Georg Grimgeist, "The Wraith of the Tetherwilds" who is here upon the formers request for help. Together they come up with some plans and ideas, though tensions rise when Tyrus Bellows returns to Shirebrook.

    Malakai does his best to manage Shirebrook while also looking into the disappearance of his two friends, in the turning to a very unlikely and sinister ally.

    The party head off to Newfort to answer the Counts summons, they make their case and eventually things seem to settle down a bit between them and the Count. The party heads back to Shirebrook to make the final plans for Jeeves’ retirement, but one morning Malakai wakes up to something he did not expect to happen.

    The party are recovering from their misadventures and plan to head to Tassel for Jeeves’ sake, but along the way interesting developments in Shirebrook catch their attention and at long last Malakai confronts the man he has been chasing since the very beginning.

    The party is resting up in Redport enjoying themselves, but not all goes according to plan. Malakai is accosted in the streets and after one thing leads to another the party find themselves in a very tight spot and must escape the city as quickly as they can.

    The party come upon a ruined tower filled with Gryphons, after a lot of back and forth on the ethics of killing such majestic creatures they resolve to devise a plan which would allow them to loot the ruined tower without having to engage in all out combat with the beasts.

    The party takes their leave of Shirebrook once more, but also manage to convince Tyrus to do what is best for the town and to flee as well.

    The party finally makes it home though it seems that Tyrus Bellows has caused a bit of a commotion by taking justice into his own hands. As Van and Kain try to keep the party on track Malakai finds himself being drawn more and more into the local politicking and power struggles.

    After an eventful audience with the Count, the party conclude their dealings in Newfort and head home toward Shirebrook, investigating an abandoned village along the way, though once they arrive home a shocking turn of events awaits them.
