Harmoniously at Odds
by Leo
Welcome to Harmoniously at Odds — the podcast where we talk politics without the shouting but instead try something radical… like listening. Each week I’ll sit down with relatives and friends across the political spectrum — conservatives, skeptics, believers, parents— to explore what it really means to live in the middle. Not as a compromise, but as a calling.

Alexis, a longtime friend, is a Cuban-American and Air Force veteran who served multiple tours in the middle east. His past experience adds context to the convoluted nature of our current foreign affairs and his background allows for some understanding of the complex nature of immigration in today's political climate.

Austin (Part I)
Austin and I have known each other for years now. When we're not playing board games, we're debating politics online. Through a series of long-winded topics and a couple of curveball questions, we ended up with a recording worthy of two parts. Does it end on a cliffhanger? Listen to find out.....

James
What can I say about Tio Jim? Loves football, a "Valley" native through and through, and he's full MAGA; the typical conservative-right tropes would lead you to believe the exact opposite. You'd think after being part of his wedding he'd have a little more respect for me........kidding of course. Still, his political leanings are well-informed and a regular topic in our discussions at family gatherings.

Isai
In the inaugural episode, I sit down with one of my closest uncles. He and I have shared many memories, debates, and humorous exchanges. Our 7-year age gap meant we were always together as kids and I've always deeply admired his willingness to do anything with my cousins and I growing up. In spite of our diverging paths on everything political, we still managed to have a great time recording this episode and conversing about some of today's most heated topics.
