This episode we're joined by honorary homie, Tom Garcia (aka Lil Yumper) from Sadistic Penguin Studies and the At the Show Podcast. The homies give their thoughts on the trade deadline, analyzing the moves that were made and some that weren't (cough Bulls cough) before giving their picks for the NBA All Star competition. Plus, some special milestones in the Hall of Slime. Tune in!

This episode begins on a bit of a down note as the homies express their disappointment with the AFC and NFC championship games and another uninspiring Super Bowl matchup. Things get more positive in the second half of the show when Pat and Matt give their All Star reserve picks and react to the final all-star rosters.

It's the end of May which can mean only one thing.... a hoops-palooza! As the NBA postseason enters its final stage, the homies recap the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the playoffs, giving their thoughts about the series and next steps for eliminated teams. Then Matt and Pat make their picks for the next NBA Champion before calling out some slimeballs and shouting out some homies. Excuse the dog parks in the background - this is an amateur operation and PMoore has a lil puppy at home who gets very mad when he doesn't play with her for a few hours.

In a jam-packed episode, the homies are joined by frequent guest Tom Garcia aka Lil Yumper aka Duece, to catch up on a busy few weeks of NFL offseason news, including Lamar Jackson's new contract and the NFL draft. Then, the homies get into some NBA talk, making their picks for the upcoming NBA play-in tournament. This episode, in celebration of Saint Patrick's Day, the homies do a couple of special St Paddy's-themed segments. First, Matt and Pat premier the Clean in Green segment, in which they each give their top 3 green uniforms of all time from the NFL and NBA. Then, they do a fun exercise of Gold or Fool's Gold, in which the homies are given 7 predictions that they must categorize as gold or fool's gold. And of course - as always - they close things out with some homies and slimeballs of the week. Tune in!

First, the guys give their reactions to some of the biggest NBA trade deadline moves including KD to the Suns, Kyrie to the Mavs, Clippers/Lakers reloads, and the Bulls inactivity at the deadline. Then Duece gives his perspective on player movement or player "empowerment" in the modern NBA. Then the guys review the final All-Star game rosters before making their picks for the Rising Stars Challenge, Skills Challenge, 3 Point Contest, and Dunk Contest at the 2023 NBA All Star game. As always, they give a shoutout to some notable slimeballs and homies. 

It's another pigskin-focused episode! The homies discuss the outcome of NFL playoff divisional round games and what they noticed in each of the 4 matchups. Then Matt and Pat choose their candidates for the NFL's end-of-year awards and compare those to who they picked pre-season. They also give their picks for the Pigskin Prophet's honorary bonus award categories. Finally, before the homies go on a several-week hiatus, they give their picks for the NFC and AFC championship games and then for each Super Bowl scenario. In this episode, they give their impressions of the first batch of fan votes for the NBA All-Star game, talking about some of the most surprising - and let's be honest downright silly - names that cracked the top 10 in both conferences. After that they turn their gaze to gridiron to talk about the upcoming NFL wildcard games. First they'll look back at their preseason picks and see how many of those picks played out before picking their winners of each wildcard game this weekend. And of course, the guys have to shout out a few slimeballs and homies before shutting it down. 

This week, the homies get in the holiday spirit and talk agout most gifted (pun very much intended) athletes in the NBA and the NFL before giving their picks for homie and slimeball of the week. Tune in for good holiday vibes!

This episode, the homies take a look at some of the best and stinkiest matchups from Week 14 of the NFL season. Then they shout out some can't-miss league pass games in their Don't Pass It Up segment before each choosing 3 standout teams from the first 20-25 games of the NBA season before wrapping up the show with their infamous Slimeball of the Week picks and homies of the week. 

This week, the homies kick things off with a segment of more or less (aka PMOORE or Less) in which they make guesses at how many teams from each NFL division will make it to the post-season. Then, moving over to hoops, Matt and Pat each pick 3 NBA players who have stood out through the first quarter (or so) of the season. Then, they wrap things up with a very special Slimeball/Homie of the Week segment, in which not one, but TWO athletes are voted into the Helmets, Hoops & Homies infamous Hall of Slime. This week the homies start off by talking about their favorite (PMoore Special) and least favorite (Stinker Speical) matchups in Week 12 of the NFL Season. Then switching over to hoops, they give their league pass games of the week in another edition of Don't Pass It Up before getting to the main event. In Jersey Jam: City Edition, Pat and Matt give their impressions of the 2022-23 NBA city edition uniforms that were released and ranks some of their favorites and least favorites. This week on the Helmets, Hoops & Homies podcast, PMoore and the Pigskin Prophet go back to our pre-season NFL playoff picks for Run, Pass, Punt; where they talk about which of their preseason picks they’re running with, passing on, or punting on. Then, the homies swap out the cleats for some basketball kicks for our newest segment: Don’t Pass It Up. In this segment, the Hoops Guru and Matt talk about some NBA league pass games they don’t want to miss next week. Finally, the homies take it full court with their early season NBA Award picks. After that, in advance of the NCAA Final Four games, P-Moore and Matt each give their top 4 favorite players from the 4 teams in the Final Four in our *mimicking Moses Malone* Fo Fo Fo segment. With NFL free agency fast approaching, the homies give their predictions for the quarterbacks they think will have breakout or bounce back seasons next season in the NFL. After that, we do a quick recap of the NBA All-Star Weekend and go into our "Dunk or Clunk" segment in which we give our "dunks" and "clunks" for the All-Star festivities. Finally, we talk about 3 things that we're each looking forward to in the rest of the NBA season before giving our Finals predictions. We close it out, as always, with Slimeball of the Week.

This week we're bringing Pigskin back into the mix! Matt and Pat do a recap of the AFC & NFC championship games and each pick our P-Moore Special and Stinker Special of the conference championship round. Then, the homie give their NBA awards pick at the (approximately) halfway point of the season before giving their final awards picks for the NFL season. Of course, the podcast concludes with our Slimeball of the Week segment - though we're mixing it up a bit this time! 

It's a Hoops-palooza on the Helmets, Hoops, & Homies podcast this week! Extremely let down by the Buffalo Bills loss in the divisional round, we decided to take our minds off of pigskin by devoting an entire episode to chatting about hoops. We start off by discussing the final returns from the fan vote for the NBA All Star game - what we agree with, what we disagree with, and what we expect for the East and West starting lineups. Then we discuss our top brother combinations in the NBA and power rank these combos before closing out with our Slimeball picks! 

This week, we start off the show with our Shootin' Hoops segment, in which we make our picks for the NBA All-Star game as we move into the second half of the season. Then we talk about the NFL playoffs in our Kickin' It segment, recapping the wild card round of games and making our picks for the divisional round games. We of course wrap things up with our Slimeballs of the Week, touching on some of the slimy behavior coming out of the Wild Card round.
