State of Comics 2025
Myron and I end the year with a discussion on the current state of the comic book market. Is it for hobbiest or collectors? The publishers are keeping the lights on but at what cost? Blind bags, stunt events that change nothing, variant covers, etc. don't improve the stories. We also share some the things we've enjoyed this year including putting this humble podcast out there for our dedicated listener.

This month Myron and I go through our recent silver and bronze age back issue purchases. We managed to find some serious gems at reasonable prices. Lee and Kirby through Shooter and Sinott, we look at some forgettable foes such as the Kangaroo and Myron schools us on Wonder Man and the tension he created in the Marvel Comics Universe. Those are the edges, listen for the creamy center.

Diamond in the Rough
This episode Myron and get into the demise of Diamond and our feelings regarding Marvel and DC mainline books treading water, endlessly. A little music chatter thrown in and some reaction to Neil Gaiman in the news and if that should shade our change our views on his past creations. We keep the topic to the impact to us as readers and fans when the artist might be a monster.

This month we talk about the recent release of the GI Joe compendium and the Marvel/DC omnibus. Holiday cheer shared from DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, and Top Cow this year, with each releasing plenty of holiday comics. The episode ends with a discussion on live music and the effects it has on our bodies and mental health. In the middle of all that Roy Clark pops up in conversation and not because of Hee Haw.
