    Forced Changes: An Update

This is my second platform move in less than a year. Forgive my frustration. It has nothing to do with you and everything to do with capitalism. For now, I'll see how I can publish, but the quality may dip for a bit until I can understand how to better interface with Riverside.

Noir Memoire - Unscripted, Uncut, UnMastered

***UNSCRIPTED EPISODE FLOW STARTS @~5 minutes*** Getting back into the rhythm after a lot of soul searching. This is what I want, and I can't let those that inspired me to also derail my intention. With Black History Month afoot, I hope to address my original reason for this podcast (White Fragility) very soon. I also hope to use this as an exercise to rediscover my voice. I got a little lost there but, I saw the future and told you that this would be a mess that makes sense. Things get revealed to me as I do this podcast so, I'm recommitting to sharing as much as possible along the way. Missed you! Credits: Langston Hughes - "Theme for English B"

You are Magic, Words are Spells: Through the Looking Glass of the Now

You've been shown the doorway to the present. We'll remain at the threshold, as you "Marie-Kondo" yourself. You are better today than you were yesterday. Although your are not perfect, you are okay. It's time to find and hone your present magic. Words leave an imprint on other's hearts and souls. These imprints can be beneficial or detrimental. There is no betwixt! This law also applies to you. Change the way you speak about yourself now and, your life will forever change in that direction. What you're not changing, your also choosing.

    Meditations: Anahata (Heart Chakra)

Anahata Chakra, is the heart center in Hinduism and Buddhism. The heart chakra is the 4th chakra, located in the center of your chest. It represents the ability to love, self-love and governs our relationships. The universal sound of the heart chakra is "yaam." This chakra vibrates with the air element. Air disperses and integrates spiritual understanding of love, compassion, and connection to everything you encounter. Air, like love, is within and all around us. We can embody this element by keeping our heart center open and our love free-flowing. An imbalanced heart chakra presents as depression, difficulty in relationships and lack of self-discipline. Physical manifestations include heart or lung problems, asthma, allergies and fear of intimacy. Foods that may assist the power of this chakra are broccoli, lettuce, essentially anything green as it is the most bountiful color in nature. Is it any wonder why? Stones that may amplify the power of this chakra are malachite, emerald and pink (love) quartz. As previously discussed, the purpose of a mantra is to empower. On Friday, the day of Venus in astrology and, Anahata energy let’s see what we can do to heal your heart chakra. We get through challenges and humps by expressing our true selves. Your soul always knows what’s best, it’s our egoic minds that can fumble it up.

(Open Source Ver.) The Past is Not a Key that Fits the Lock of the Present

Be forewarned! The last part of this mountain trail gets a little choppy & rocky :D The past can bind us to depression and fear in subtle or, not so subtle ways.  Often, these negative emotions stem from underlying issues including unmet needs, relationship problems, or poor coping skills. I struggled with a negative self view for a long time, that kept me from experiencing the forward momentum I envisioned. While some of the work I needed to do was internal, I soon realized that some doorways were kept shut deliberately. We'll discuss some of the hurdles that I encountered, lessons learned and how I broke free of some thick a** chains. You will meet Aari and, I'll explain why this identity became vital to my journey. The darkness of the past casts a long shadow but, let's find some light in a focus on today. Mantras and meditation are spells for focus.

Beginnings - A Mess that Makes Sense

I'm intrepid and, I've had countless journeys. It's time to share that knowledge and gather 'round to discuss how we can be good at being human. In the raiding of tombs, certain artifacts have provided keys to finding myself and the soul. As I share with you, probe with you, I hope to leave you contemplating in a positive way, promoting growth within your own life. May the food for thought provide a feast for the mind, a muse for the soul and, practical ways to nourish the body.
