I’m Lauren Silvaria, I’m an interior designer and stylist, and founder of My Little Empire, an interior design studio located in Bayside Melbourne. Thankyou for joining me for our very first podcast and welcome! I wanted to make this podcast not only to share our insights about the interior design industry, styling tips, and along the way you’ll also get to meet some pretty interesting people we will interview, but I really wanted to create this podcast as an extension of our social media following. We just celebrated our sixth year in business, and while celebrating this milestone I came to realise just how many of our beautiful supporters have been following us since the very beginning, and how many of you out there have a genuine interest and thirst for what it’s really like behind the scenes being an interior designer. Ill aim to cover a wide range of topics throughout our podcast, and these topics will cover off things that will appeal to the everyday person wanting some tips and tricks on how to style their home, or select the right tiles, to advice for buddying and up and coming interior designers wanting to break into the industry.
