    Under the Radar 2-25-2026

Tonight's feature conference is the OVC, which is completely logjammed with Morehead State, SEMO, and Tennessee State all tied for 1st place with just two games to go. The regular season ends Saturday and with the conference tournament being a ladder format the stakes are very high. From there we run through the other 22 UTR leagues. Liberty and Stephen F Austin both suffered surprising upsets this week. League play is winding down some of the teams have already clinched 1st place finishes, and some of the races are down to the wire. The Sun Belt in particular is crazy as the top 7 teams are separated by just one game. We discuss all that and more!! And, as we do every week, we close with this week's UTR Top Ten.

  20. 29

    HoopsHD Report 2-23-2026

We had two top four matchups this past weekend with Duke getting a big win against Michigan in a great game and Arizona picking up a huge road win at Houston in one of the better singular wins any team has managed this season. We discuss both those games and recap a very busy week of college basketball. Virginia continues to look solid out of the ACC, whereas Clemson is in a tailspin and SMU is hovering around the bubble. The SEC looks like they could get as many as 11 teams in and Tennessee is suddenly looking like a protected seed. The Big Ten and Big 12 both have multiple protected seeds and we look extensively at those two leagues. Saint Louis continues to look tough in the Atlantic 10, Utah State is close to being a lock out of the Mountain West, and it's a huge week in the West Coast with Gonzaga, Saint Mary's and Santa Clara all facing off against each other.Audio only this week. For video, check out HoopsHD.com!

They debate, discuss, assess, and argue about each team as they go.  Find out who they have on the #1 lines so far, who is safely in, who still has work to do, and who on the bubble just made it in and just missed it.For the final bracket, check out HoopsHD.com!

  22. 27

    Under the Radar 2-17-2026

Tonight's feature conference is the Sun Belt, where the top six teams are separated by just one game and the top eight by just two games. This has added importance for the rest of the regular season because of the extension format that they use for the conference tournament. Troy appeared to be the best team a few weeks ago, but they've hit a skid and lost their lead. Marshall is looking good, James Madison is coming on strong, Appalachian State is in first place, and South Alabama is potentially dangerous. It should be a fun rest of the season! From there we run through the other 22 UTR conferences. Liberty and Navy are on the verge of clinching 1st place in their conferences. Stephen F Austin is a potentially dangerous team that is just two wins away from clinching the Southland. The OVC is also logjammed with six teams that can still end up in 1st place. Belmont is looking really strong out of the Missouri Valley. We discuss all that, and more! And, as we do every week, we close with this week's UTR Top Ten.Audio only tonight. For video check out HoopsHD.com.

  23. 26

    HoopsHD Report 2-16-2026

It was a wild week of college basketball and the Hoops HD panel recaps all of the action. Texas Tech got a massive win at Arizona, which was their third win over a team ranked in the top 4 of the NET. Michigan is now the top ranked team in the country, and Purdue and Illinois continue to look really impressive in the Big Ten. Duke continues to roll through the ACC, Gonzaga had a big win at Santa Clara and is close to locking up a protected seed, Saint Louis just keeps winning games, and three teams are still battling in the Mountain West. We also have some big games coming up this week, particularly Duke v Michigan, and we look ahead to those as well.

    Under the Radar 2-11-2026

Tonight's feature conference is the Big West where Hawaii, UC Irvine, and UC Santa Barbara are battling it out and where we have several key games coming up this week. Hawaii has been nearly unstoppable at home and UCSB is starting to look a lot better. After that we run through the other 22 UTR leagues and look at how Liberty is still unbeaten (albeit barely) in Conference USA, and Belmont had a tough loss at Bradley that will probably end their at-large hopes. Stephen F Austin has a two game lead over McNeese in the Southland and has a big week coming up. The CAA and Sun Belt are both wide open with several big games coming up this week. We discuss all that, and more!! And as we do every week, we close with this week's Under the Radar Top Ten.Audio only this week. For the video, check out HoopsHD.com

Saint Louis is continuing to blow through the Atlantic 10, Saint John's got a big win against UConn in the Big East, and New Mexico had a rough loss in the Mountain West. We discuss all that and more!!

  28. 21

    Under the Radar 2-4-2026

This week's feature conference is the WAC and it isn't entirely because of what is happening on the court. Utah Valley has been declared ineligible by the conference due to a dispute over an exit fee the conference feels they are owed. On the court, it's an exciting race between Utah Valley and Cal Baptist. The top four teams are separated by just one game. From there we run through the other 22 Under the Radar conferences as a lot of the races are getting exciting. East Tennessee held on to remain in 1st place in the SoCon, Austin Peay appears to be in control in the ASun. Akron is chasing Miami OH in the MAC, the Sun Belt is completely logjammed again, the CAA seemingly has about eight different teams who appear good enough to win the conference, and Stephen F Austin has overtaken McNeese in the Southland. We discuss all that and more! And as we do every week, we close with this week's UTR Top Ten.

  29. 20

    HoopsHD Report 2-2-2026

Chad and the panel recap a very busy week and discuss how well Texas A&M is playing in the SEC, how Kentucky has racked up some big road wins recently, how Georgia is in a tailspin, and how Florida has really turned it on. In the Big Ten Michigan had a huge week and Illinois is playing as well as anyone in the country. The Big 12 also has multiple teams that are high in the rankings and in contention for protected seeds, including Arizona who is ranked #1 in the nation. We discuss all that and more as we run through all of the major conferences.

Tonight's feature conference is the Atlantic Sun, where Queens suffered a tough loss tonight which will knock them down the standings some. Austin Peay and Lipscomb are tied atop the standings and Central Arkansas (of all teams) beat Queens tonight to put themselves solidly in the race. From there, we run through the other 22 UTR leagues. The America East standings are tight and Vermont has a chance to distance themselves. The American standings are also tight with several teams being potentially dangerous in the Round of 64 this March. Teams like Yale and Belmont are positioning themselves for a possible run at the bubble. We discuss all that, and more! And as we do every week, we close with this week's UTR Top Ten.

  32. 17

    Under the Radar 1-21-2026

Tonight's feature conference is the America East where five teams are separated by just one game. Vermont still looks like the best team in the league, but they are by no means invincible and teams like UMBC are keeping pace with them.We run through the other 22 leagues and discuss a wild week in the CAA with Charleston and Hofstra both dropping two games and UNC Wilmington jumping into 1st place, a logjam in the American where it looks like six different teams might have a chance to win it, we look at the MAC and discuss whether or not Akron can keep pace with Miami OH, Murray State suffered an upset loss in the Missouri Valley, and we recap a wild night of UTR action. Chad is joined by David Griggs, Jon Teitel, and Rocco Miller as we recap another busy week in college basketball and take a look at the big week that's coming up. Kentucky came from behind to win two big games on the road and seem to be turning things around. Texas also had a big week with a couple of big wins, but lost to their rivals Texas A&M on Saturday who is also playing really well. In the Big 12 we may see as many as six teams end up as protected seeds and Arizona remains unbeaten on the season. St John's is playing a lot better in the Big East, San Diego State is coming on strong, and Miami OH has cracked the AP Top 25. We discuss all that, and more!

  37. 12

    Under the Radar 1-14-2026

Tonight's featured conference is our favorite conference, and that is the NEC. Why is it our favorite conference? Because whatever it is that makes college basketball fun and crazy seems to exist in this conference at a higher level than it does anywhere else. Long Island and Central Connecticut are still the teams to beat, and Chicago State is coming off of one of the more improbable losses in college basketball history. They are perhaps the first team ever to have the lead and the ball with just 0.1 seconds remaining, and somehow end up losing the game. From there we run through the other 22 (not just 21 anymore!!) UTR leagues. We welcome the American to Under the Radar since it does not look like any of their teams have a shot at landing inside the bubble, and look at how well South Florida has been playing and how Tulsa is starting to struggle. Murray State is starting to assert themselves in the Missouri Valley, McNeese has strung together several wins and is once again on top of the Southland, the Big West had an exciting week with Hawaii knocking off UC Irvine at the buzzer, and Miami OH continues to blow through the MAC. We discuss all that, and more! And, as we do every week, we close with this week's UTR Top Ten.

  38. 11

    HoopsHD Report 1-12-2026

It was both a busy and crazy week last week and we recap all the action! Auburn had an eventful week with a loss right at the buzzer to Texas A&M, but followed that up with a blowout win against Arkansas. Wisconsin pulled a massive upset at Michigan which takes them from way outside the bubble to solidly in the picture. Arizona is at the top of both polls and remains unbeaten on the season. Houston also had a big week and appears to be getting tougher and tougher as the season progresses. UConn has a big game coming up at Seton Hall in the Big East, and Saint John's is also starting to look a lot better. We discuss all that, and more!

  39. 10

    Bracket Rundown 1-11-2026

  40. 9

    Under the Radar 1-7-2026

This week's feature conference is the MEAC, which is entirely upside down with UMES, Coppin State, and South Carolina State all getting wins in their conference openers, and Norfolk State and Howard both struggling in their openers. From there we run through the other 21 conferences and discuss Miami OH's undefeated season and debate how good they really are. McNeese had a big come from behind win against Stephen F Austin, but they were definitely challenged and some of the other teams in the Southland are starting to catch up to them. The Big West is off to a wild start with UC Irvine as the only remaining unbeaten team in league play. The Missouri Valley continues to look really strong with as many as five teams that can still win it. We discuss all that and more. And, as we do every week, we close with this week's UTR Top Ten.NOTE: Audio only for today's show on Spotify. For the video, check us out at Hoopshd.com

  41. 8

    HoopsHD Report 1-5-2026

A full panel has been assembled this week. We start off in the Big Ten where Michigan, Michigan State, and Nebraska are all ranked in the top ten and Nebraska is one of the more amazing stories of the season. The Big 12 is also stacked with teams like Iowa State, Arizona, and BYU also being ranked solidly in the top ten. UCF has also catapulted themselves into the spotlight with their big win over Kansas. The ACC is a deep league with a lot of Parity, Saint John's is struggling in the Big East, Seattle U had a tough week in the WCC but has a promising future, and the Atlantic 10 and American continue to struggle overall. We discuss all that, and more.(Audio only duye to technical difficulties this week on Spotify -- but check out HoopsHD.com for the video!)

  43. 6

    Under the Radar 12-31-2025

This week's featured conference is the Horizon League, which saw a surprise yesterday as Morehead State beat Oakland rather handily. Northern Kentucky is also showing signs of life, Green Bay is improving, Robert Morris looked strong out of conference but has also suffered and early loss, and we appear to have a lot more parity in this league than what we expected. From there we run through the other 21 UTR leagues and talk about how strong the Missouri Valley is with five teams who appear to be possible formidable opponents in the Round of 64. Both McNeese and Yale suffered blowout losses, but we still think they are among the best UTR teams. We discuss all that, and more. And, as we do very week, we close with this week's UTR Top Ten.

  44. 5

    HoopsHD Report Special Edition 12-29-2025

It was a light week due to The Holidays, so we take a look at the state of the game, which is...well...less than great. The impact that NIL, transfer rules (or lack thereof), and eligibility rules (or lack thereof) are having on the game has many coaches speaking out in concern. The NCAA seems to be rather pedestrian in their response and is even appealing to congress to step in and take action. We look at that and share our thoughts on those issues. For the second half of the show, we recap last week and look ahead to this upcoming week as conference play is getting underway.

  45. 4

    Under the Radar 12-24-2025

Tonight's feature conference is the Missouri Valley, which is hands down looking like the strongest UTR conference. Belmont is off to a great start with just one loss and appears to have a path to landing inside the bubble. Northern Iowa (who barely lost at Saint Mary's), Murray State, and Illinois State have also looked really strong. After that we run through the other 21 UTR conferences and look at UC San Diego's tough loss to San Diego, how strong McNeese looks despite an upset earlier on this season, Quinnipiac and Navy look like the favorites to win their leagues, Miami OH remains unbeaten but has lost a key player for the season, and the two best teams in the WAC face each other in the conference opener. We discuss all that, and more! And as we do every week, we close with this week's UTR Top Ten.

  46. 3

    HoopsHD Report 12-22-2025

It's our last show before Christmas! We run through all of the major conferences and discuss Texas Tech's big come from behind win against Duke and how strong the Big 12 is with as many as five teams in position to end up with protected seeds, The ACC has a lot of teams like Cal, and Stanford, and SMU, and several others who are outperforming their preseason rankings and is much stronger than it was a year ago. Purdue, Illinois, and Michigan State are still going strong in the Big Ten, and Vanderbilt is the biggest story in the SEC. We also discuss how much the Big East is struggling, and how the WCC, A10, American, and MWC might all be one big leagues.

  47. 2

    Under the Radar 12-17-2025

This week's featured conference is the CAA, and there are a lot of teams to discuss. UNC Wilmington is off to a fantastic start, but we discuss how their schedule has been weak and debate whether or not their record is a little inflated. William & Mary is another good team, Hofstra had a great week with their win at Syracuse, Elon had a big win tonight against Richmond, and Towson looks to be tough as well. After that we run through the other 21 UTR conferences and discuss the overall strength of the Big West where Hawaii and UC San Diego are off to great starts. The Missouri Valley is looking very strong with teams like Northern Iowa, Belmont, Murray State, and Illinois State. Yale and Columbia are off to great starts in the Ivy League, and McNeese looks like the best team in the Southland, but Stephen F Austin is also really good. We discuss all that, and more. And, as we do every week, we close with this week's UTR Top Ten.
