Because they are hypnotic, Mezmer Eyes can see right into the heart and soul in the most positive ways. Friendly and a bit dangerous at the same time, they are curious, captivating, thrilling and somewhat bewitching. Maybe even a bit seductive in the right circumstances, they are always engaging and full of love.

'Fields Of Passage' follows alternate themes through hybrid vignettes - instrumental tonescapes leaning into rural enclaves. The song "Hinterlands" is track 6 on the album and it captures a sojourn into wilderness stretches with easy guitar riffs, sweeping synth arcs and an upbeat, grounded percussion.

The theme examines human connections with nature through additional hybrid music - a reflective, soulful and ambient sound.

My thanks to muterial for the joy of working on his original track, “Off The Rails”, which was composed of sounds that came from just two seconds recorded by him of water flowing across a ford and then slowed more than 100 times while treated through filters, reverb, EQ and compressors. The result was an invitation to further treat his innovation with additional music and sound for spacial effect for this collaborative version.
