Hello to all! We're coming up to the end of March which is when our exciting second season of The Robert Lloyd Adventures will be kicking off. This season bears the moniker Old Friends and will see the Doctor meeting some, rather obviously, old friends. Starring in this season are Robert Lloyd as the Doctor and Morgan Thomas-Connor as his companion Scout. We have some wonderful guests in our cast for this season including Chris Broadstock, Matthew Hadgraft, Suzy Markovski, David Innes, Vicki Kyriakakis​ and Hayman Kent to name but a few. To mark the occasion, we have an exciting little visual promo for you featuring the Doctor and Scout and we'll be bringing you a trailer for the first episode Terror of Fear (written by the Doctor himself) next week. Some of you may remember last week we took a trip to the Caribbean to ring in the 1992 New Year. Here we have a quote from writer, director, composer (and a lot of other things) W.D. Stevens about that particular story: "To be honest, the story came about purely because I was studying the history of music in a subject at uni and we came to reggae and we'd done some in our ensembles and it was just so fun that I just wanted a reason to write a reggae song - not that you need a reason, really. But I thought 'let's set a story in the Caribbean'. Just to do something differently and an excuse to have a party. Since it was a New Years story I wanted to have a reggae version of Auld Lang Syne which I found by an artist called Dillinger. Then I wanted a well-known song to have covered and, since it was about the Doctor and his friends (plus being a huge Beatles fan myself) I chose With a Little Help From My Friends by Ellis Island. And that just left the middle song which I got to write which is called Take Me Home written and performed by yours truly. Modestly, of course." And here is that song. Enjoy!

The Wiz of Niz) Set between Tales of Mystery and Imagination and The Flesh Monger, this episode stars Robert Lloyd as the Doctor.
