    Trust to slow down

In this lucky 13th instalment of I'm Noticing, we continue to notice more clearly how our systems respond to the ongoing experiment of communicating within this container, including avoidant parts that seek to pull us away. Intentions arise to reconnect. And AmyJoy's dog snores very loudly!I'm Noticing is an immersive, experiential podcast. We don't discuss IFS, NVC, or authentic communication. We experience it and invite the audience to have your own experience in tandem with us as you listen, however that shows up for you.The overarching intention of this process is to consistently bring more connecting language to our descriptions of our systems and communicate in a way that facilitates fluidity with our noticings. This is also an experiment in editing and producing a podcast! In keeping with the intentions of the container, I have specifically challenged my own perfectionism by just putting the episode out without spending lots of time tinkering with minor details, learning the whole suite of editing tricks, worrying about titles and descriptions, etc. I hope you'll be forgiving along this journey as I learn to do a better job producing!Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/dan-phillipson/making-progressLicense code: ATBTYMHMVWNXWXE6

    Growing awareness of Self-like parts

In this 11th instalment of I'm Noticing, we continue to notice more clearly how our systems respond to the ongoing experiment of communicating within this container, and a number of assumptions emerge that point us toward our Self-like parts. The container (or, our set of intentions) necessarily changes as we go further into this experiment, because systems always shift to find balance, it becomes an essential component of the container to shift to keep us off-balance in a way that serves us to have deeper noticings.I'm Noticing is an immersive, experiential podcast. We love S.M.A.R.T. Goals

In this tenth instalment of I'm Noticing, certain shifts are becoming more apparent as we notice our systems adapting to the process of how we are relating, and some of the ways that our parts are expressing unmet needs, or strategies we are noticing to meet these needs.P.S. if you're not familiar with SMART Goals:Specific - clear about what you intend to do (e.g. spend time journaling)Measurable - clear about what would constitute achievement (e.g. for 30 minutes, 3x weekly)Achievable - something that is reasonably within your capacity to achieveRelevant - relevance to the underlying issue you are seeking to address (e.g. lacking consistency, clarity)Timely - something that will be a priority (e.g. will be completed this week)Put it together, "I intend to journal for 30 minutes, three times this week, to address the concerns of a part of me that feels overwhelmed by insights/connections, and would like for me to help create some calm and clarity for it."The overarching intention of this process is to consistently bring more connecting language to our descriptions of our systems and communicate in a way that facilitates fluidity with our noticings.

    A Rogue Smoke Detector

In this ninth instalment of I'm Noticing we touch back on recent noticings, make new connections and overcome a noisy smoke detector (some extra editing took place to smooth this process out!).We're seeking to bring more connecting language to our descriptions of our systems and communicate in a way that facilitates fluidity with our noticings.

    A flood of thoughts...

In this sixth installment of I'm Noticing--as you may be suspecting by now--we discover what is present, what parts of us are resisting the process, and what we're noticing shows up in the container that reflects broader patterns in our systems, relationships and interactions. We're seeking to bring more connecting language to our descriptions of our systems and communicate in a way that facilitates fluidity with our noticings. As far as I could tell, the audio quality is much more consistent in this episode and should be good the rest of the way forward! The title is inspired by the parts of us that arise as we are called into the container space/process.This is also an experiment in editing and producing a podcast!

    Whatever's happening, it feels spacious.

In this fifth installment of I'm Noticing we discover what is present, what parts of us are resisting the process, and what we're noticing shows up in the container that reflects broader patterns in our systems, relationships and interactions. This was the first recording we did after recording Episodes 1 & 2, and also deeper into the process of making audio adjustments to make the listening experience better. There is a slight but noticeable 'tinny' sound in this recording, but I think the voices and consistency are vastly improved overall. The title comes from on of the final lines of the podcast, which accompanied excitement, curiosity, satisfaction, as we witnessed a micro-scenario of the process "working", for lack of a better term.

I also hope that you will notice an improvement in audio quality as we move forward to episode 5 and beyond! This is also an experiment in editing and producing a podcast! In keeping with the intentions of the container, I have specifically challenged my own perfectionism by just putting the episode out without spending lots of time tinkering with minor details, learning the whole suite of editing tricks, etc. I hope you'll be forgiving along this journey as I learn to do a better job producing!Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/dan-phillipson/making-progressLicense code: ATBTYMHMVWNXWXE6
