Oh, Now You’re (Sp)Here too?
We are currently stuck in The Wedge somewhere between recording and releasing, and at this point Zencastr has us in the NICU fighting for audio life support. For two straight days we’ve been trying to record and somehow ended up Halfway to the Moon with nothing to show for it but error messages, bad moods, and a growing pile of digital Leaves. So while the tech gremlins sort themselves out, we’re pulling a Classic Insuphishient from the vault. A little five fifty five(ya dig), a little Dirt, and enough nonsense to make you wanna Punch ME in the Eye and remind you why you’re (sp)here in the first place. By the time this thing reaches your ears, we’ll hopefully have the Golgi Apparatus (The Golgi apparatus was identified in 1898 by the Italian biologist and pathologist Camillo Golgi. The organelle was later named after him in the 1910s) firing again and be back in business.Until then, enjoy the chaos of 1.0 inusphishient. We’re closer than we look.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

(Sp)iracle issues: Classical Insuphishient VOL 8
Matt and Nick are currently lost somewhere between time and space, so while the universe sorts itself out, you’re getting a Classic Insuphishient to get your mind right for Sphere Run 3.The truth is less cosmic and more annoying: Zencastr has completely fallen apart and for two straight days these two highly trained podcast professionals have been unable to record. Technology has failed us. Again. Some say it’s a glitch. Some say it’s Ticketmaster retaliation. We may never know. But fear not. This one is a certified classic and absolutely worth the spin. Think of it as stretching before the next run. We’ll be back soon with fresh chaos, hotter takes, and all the Sphere nonsense you can handle.Until then, enjoy the old magic. We’ll catch up eventually. Probably. If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Just Sittin' Back (sp)Here
It’s Monday. You might have the day off. You’re a Phish fan, so maybe employment is more of a rumor than a reality right now. That’s okay. No shade. Unless Page is physically blocking the light, in which case Trey likes it so.Today on Insuphishient, Matt and Nick are fully locked in on Sphere night two and the funk level is rising fast. Night one was strong. Night two walked in, looked around, and basically said HYHU, don’t worry, I got this. The music got weirder, shorter but wider. The lights on the dome got brighter. Smiles of the crowd got bigger. Noun noun verb. So now we ask the important questions. Are we seeing history happen or just falling for the same old Phish trick with a bigger screen? Also, Who approved Page’s stats in the Phish video game? (our boy got done dirty). What are they wearing? Does it matter? Does anything really matter? The jams are hot (accept 1). The spirits are high. The boys are dialed all the way in.Three more nights are three more nights away.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Sphere we GO (Take 2 now with more NICK)
Today on Insuphishient, We kicks things off with a full breakdown of Sphere night one,The band takes the stage, the visuals get weird, and at some point we all agree that showing the band might actually be A GOOD IDEA. Also discussed:Fishman is either isolated for sound or being treated like the Pope.Ticketmaster is going to court, which will definitely fix everything.Expectations remain impossible. Stakes remain high. Nick and Matt's confidence remains unjustified.Tune in.We’re figuring it out in real time.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

U.T.T.M.I Volume 9
Yes that’s right. Nick and Matt are back with more up to the minute Insuphishient for your Big Money Friday listening pleasure. The guys get deep today. Like suspiciously deep. The kind of deep where a simple thought about Phish somehow turns into a full blown theory about time, technology, absence, money, mystery, and why none of us can leave this band alone. Then, because no good idea goes untested, they roll out a brand new segment and immediately treat it like it has been a cornerstone of the show for years. All this and more.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

No other Podcast tries harder to shoot themselves in the foot
There is a lot going on right now. Maybe too much. News flying in from every direction, rumors in the air, timelines bending, and Matt and Nick doing their absolute best not to drown in it. Some people might say they are just swimming around out there. Not us though. Never us. We are calling it processing. And to properly process all this breaking news, the boys need a little time, a little space, and maybe a little less pressure. So while the gears turn and the takes marinate, we are cracking open the vault and bringing you some classic 1.0 Insuphishient. Earlier days. Wilder energy. Questionable structure. Pure form.Enjoy.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Even More up to the minute than ever before Insuphishient (things are ok)
Matt and Nick are out of the room, out of patience, and out of excuses. They paid their dues, fried their brains, burned through the last of the gas, and still somehow dragged a fresh episode across the finish line. Shoes busted, socks hanging on by a thread, mirrors telling hard truths, and yet the boys kept moving because there was no time to lose. And here’s the good news. Everything is right. Or close enough. The episode is live, the takes are hot, the damage is done, and now all that’s left is for you to hold tight and enjoy the ride. No safety net, no clean landing, just your favorite Phish talk show doing what it does best and getting it out while the wires are still warm.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Up to the minute Insuphishient
Matt and Nick just left the studio with this HOT track TO GO for your listening pleasure. For the first time in Insuphishient history, they are recording and releasing within minutes, which means all the usual guard rails are off and this thing is absolutely flying with no supervision. As Bill O’Reilly once said, “WE’LL DO IT LIVE!” and that is exactly what is happening here today. Is this the best episode of Insuphishient ever?Maybe. It is, however, the best one recorded today, and that is not up for debate. The guys also debut a brand new game, and in a shocking turn of events, both Nick and Matt absolutely brick it in spectacular fashion. Not even close. Real tough scene. You will not believe how confident they were compared to how poorly this went.No safety net, no edits, no second takes. Just two guys, a couple microphones, and whatever comes out of their mouths in real time.Tune in and enjoy. And remember… anything can happen when you do it live.Let’s party. If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Above the Sea of Stars part 6
Today on Insuphishient…Matt and Nick attempt to talk about Phish at the Sphere but instead accidentally create a new scientific system for classifying songs as either “For the Band” or “For The People,” which immediately gets rejected by the scientific community, the jam community, and several members of their own families.Nick unveils a plan to talk over one of Matt’s band’s 20 minute jams and call it “content,” Matt considers this, then immediately regrets telling Nick he has recording equipment. Meanwhile Nick's Plant continues to become more powerful within the organization, and there are now rumors it knows how to use all the knobs correctly, which would make it the most qualified person involved in this entire operation.Next time on Insuphishient…Matt starts a side project writing "Fortune" cookies.Nick tries to get a sky writer to write "Wave of Hope Is Not a Set Two Opener" over Fishman's house. The band Phoenix Freight changes their name to Phoenix with an F.And somehow, despite all available evidence, these two idiots start a media company.Turn it on. Turn it up.We’ll meet you somewhere in the middle of the jam.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

The Community of Molly is growing (Welcome back to part 2)
Since Nick Blew it at the end of yesterday's show, we will pick up exactly where we left off. No intro.... Just straight rip!So Yes Nick has officially solved the mystery of why his sound kept cutting out. After hours of troubleshooting, equipment discussions, cable inspections, and at one point blaming what he called “electrical ghosts,” it turns out the problem was that Nick had one of his own AirPods in his pocket... That’s right. The man who has opinions about everything Page does was defeated by a volume knob. We will be taking no further questions at this time.Because of this shocking development, Matt has temporarily been promoted to Head of Audio, Head of IT, and Head of Common Sense. Nick will remain Head of Confidence.Meanwhile, Molly continues to quietly become the most competent person on the show, which is both impressive and concerning for leadership. So to recap: Molly is thriving, Matt is in charge of the buttons, Nick is no longer allowed to touch the equipment without supervision, and somehow this operation is producing more content than ever.We wish we could say things are running smoothly. They are. They are running.Tune in.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Got any Molly (updates)
It’s been a long time coming, but our phrend Molly is back. Somewhere well past her 46th day of listening to Phish, and somehow… still loving life. Honestly, thriving. This is not your usual Insuphishient format, which of course means it might actually be one of the best ones. We’ve got a Saturday follow-up coming (yes, a Saturday show, stay calm), and a video drop on Sunday because apparently we’ve become a full media company overnight. So while Phish might not be the main topic today, the content levels are borderline irresponsible. You are welcome. Also, let’s be real for a second. What Molly has done for this little corner of the world is priceless. The energy, the openness, the willingness to just jump in and ride the wave. If more people moved like that, things would be a lot better out there.Regular chaos resumes Monday.Enjoy.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

The lying, the Witch and the Wardrobe Malfunction
Today’s episode features a full breakdown of the secret system Phish uses to decide setlists in real time, including the never before discussed “eye contact protocol” between Trey and Page, Mike’s silent veto power, and the exact moment Fishman decides it’s time to completely ignore the plan. The guys also unveil a new metric for judging shows that has nothing to do with music and everything to do with how early you start believing it’s the best show you’ve ever seen.Later, Matt introduces a controversial theory that every great jam is actually just a slightly improved version of a jam from 1997, while Nick explains why that’s not only wrong but somehow still correct. There’s also a brief but important discussion about whether the band knows Insuphishient exists and if so, whether they’re actively trying to mess with them.None of this is confirmed. All of it is delivered with confidence.Tune in.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

They call Me the Podcast VOL 2
You made it. You survived the great Insuphishient drought (4 whole days). Which means only one thing… your favorite Phish talk show is BACK.Today the boys return with a groundbreaking deep dive into one of the most overlooked aspects of live music: the electrical wiring on the Phish stage. Did you know there are more than 20 miles of cables running through that setup? Matt and Nick break down exactly where every single one goes, why some of them have to be shielded, and which ones Trey is absolutely not allowed to step on. It’s technical. It’s detailed. It’s the kind of hard hitting journalism the scene has been missing. If you believe any of that is actually what today’s episode is about… fantastic.Enjoy.(Sorry)If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Royal W/Cheese
Today on a very special Insuphishient, Matt and Nick tackle a serious issue facing the Phish community: food code violations on lot. Health inspectors beware. Actually no. But it does raise an important question. When Phish hits Vegas, will there even be a lot scene? And if there is… where exactly does it happen? More importantly, will anyone be able to tell the difference between a wook and a perfectly normal Las Vegan? The guys don’t know, but that has never stopped them from explaining exactly how it’s going to work. Also on today’s show, a question that has divided civilizations for centuries: is French cheese actually worth it? Bold opinions will be delivered with absolutely no supporting evidence. All that and more on your favorite Phish talk show. Tune in and turn it up.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Im walking on Sunshine in a Bag
Big Money Friday is back and so are your 5th and 8th favorite people on the planet. Why the gap between Matt and Nick? That’s a question only history can answer.Today on Insuphishient the boys dive deep into your favorite band, Blue Öyster Cult. Just kidding… but seriously, what was their big hit? Don’t Google it. Sit with it. Let it haunt you.Nick unveils a brand new theory about why spherical Phish might secretly be the best Phish ever, and in a shocking development Matt completely buys in. Then, in a dramatic turn of events, the podcast ends abruptly when the power goes out.As usual none of this is true, and the only way to find out what actually happens is to tune in and ride the wave.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Carini and The Waves
Matt and Nick are happy. Want to know why? Because they found a band called Phish. Through all the noise and constant yammering, one thing is true. They’re grateful. Life without music would be less. Music without Phish would be incomplete. On today’s episode, Nick and Matt are going to break down step by step everything that went into the making of Curveball and what really happened.Just kidding.Instead you get the usual Insuphishient blend of love, chaos, and confident nonsense. A few real truths, a few dangerous takes, and a whole lot of gratitude hiding underneath the jokes. Tune in and turn it up.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Thicket Master 2000
Matt and Nick are back and it’s Monday, so honestly, you’re welcome. These two dudes are absolutely on fire. Someone grab an extinguisher. No seriously, this level of confidence usually requires professional supervision and soft walls. (Or Mike. Definitely Mike.)This episode has everything. Dangerous takes. Selective memory. Unnecessary confidence. A little love, a little chaos, and just enough truth to keep it real. No agenda. No structure. Just two guys chasing the groove, arguing with certainty, and refusing to admit they might be wrong. Turn it on, turn it up, and let it ride.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

No Mas Lotto
Today, while you are battling The Big Machine trying to order your Phish tickets, throw on your favorite Phish talk show, Insuphishient, and let Nick and Matt keep you company through the chaos. Refresh buttons are being abused, hopes are rising and falling in real time, and somewhere between confirmation emails and emotional damage, the boys are here riding the wave with you.Matt and Nick are fully fired up now that Fishman has officially upped for summer tour, and yes, they have at least a few interesting things to say about it. You are welcome. So back to the summer tour lottery. Did you score tickets? Did we? There is only one way to find out. Bakers De Witt
Matt and Nick finally take on the Baker’s Dozen, a run so legendary it probably deserved preparation, research, and maybe even notes. Naturally, none of those things happened. Instead, the guys dive in headfirst with confidence, questionable data, and the kind of enthusiasm that only comes from knowing you’re about to get half the details wrong but loving the journey anyway. Donuts. Moments. Lawn Mans. Opinions are formed and immediately changed.Somehow through the noise, a little of the magic of the Baker’s Dozen still shines through. The surprises, the consistency, the feeling that for thirteen nights something impossible kept happening over and over again. Matt and Nick may not fully explain why it mattered, but they absolutely capture how it felt. Tune in for an imperfect breakdown of a perfect run, delivered the only way Insuphishient knows how.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Snow more shows
You know what? I’m grumped, like Page when he has to leave south Florida to come play for you.Nick and Matt are sitting in the middle of a damn blizzard trying to record a podcast while the world shuts down around them, snow piling up, roads closed, brains frozen, and somehow they still hit record like this is normal behavior. No power, no visibility, probably surviving on bad coffee and worse decisions, and you people still expect clean takes and emotional stability. Meanwhile, yes, they forgot Fishman’s birthday, argued about nonsense for an hour, and still managed to thank the listeners like absolute lunatics.. you are welcome. So yeah, this episode is messy. It’s loud, cold, slightly hinged, and completely Insuphishient. Two guys snowed in, yelling into microphones because the show must go on whether the weather agrees or not. If that doesn’t sum up this podcast by now, nothing will. Turn it on, warm up, and ride it out with them. The storm eventually passes. The takes do not.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Big Birthday Friday VOL Nick Was Wrong
You can’t go through life listening to the Nicks of the world. They worry too much. Always tense. Always preparing for disappointment. Matt said there would be a summer tour and guess what… there was a summer tour. Case closed.Does that make Nick wrong? Yes. Absolutely yes. No debate. But also… isn’t Nick the one writing this episode description right now? Also yes. So what exactly is happening here? Is this an apology? A correction? A carefully disguised rewriting of history? The people deserve answers. And while we’re asking questions… did you two idiots even wish Fishman a happy birthday? The man turned 61 and you recorded on Wednesday and completely blew it. Unbelievable behavior. So let’s fix that right now.Happy Birthday Fishman. Hope this year treats you better than the last. We got you a vacuum. You know why. Love you, brother man.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

She thought I'd be Trey
You ever notice how some Phish lyrics feel like the band is quietly calling roll? Names drifting through the lines like they were always meant to be there. Matt and Nick have somehow never talked about this. Not once. Which makes you wonder. Who told them to cool it? Who said, “nah man… leave that alone.”If you’re looking for answers today, easy now. This episode isn’t about solving mysteries. It’s more like sitting on the porch waiting for summer tour to arrive. A mat at the door. A nic in time that saves nine. Don’t rush it. Let it come to you.Nick and Matt are riding a deeper wave this time. No stress. No hurry. Just letting the conversation drift where it wants to go, trusting the groove like always. So lean back. Turn it up just a little. Let it play. Also somehow along the way… the best fly fishing taco spots in the Northwest. Because life is balance like that.Tune in. Stay easy. Classic Insuphishient VOL 1
We go back now. February 9, 2022. A colder world. Smaller microphones. Bigger confidence. This was peak early middle era Insuphishient. Structure? Technically yes. Discipline? Absolutely not.On this historic evening Matt unveiled what he claimed was a “foolproof” method for predicting summer tour cities using nothing but venue capacity charts and emotional intuition. Nick countered with a 17 minute monologue explaining why every jam in 1998 secretly foreshadowed the modern era. Neither point was proven. Both were defended aggressively. This was also the episode where Poster Nutbag made an unsanctioned appearance, a bracket was introduced and immediately abandoned, and Matt tried to argue that a random midweek set two opener was “top five all time if you remove context.” Nick nearly walked off. He did not.Looking back, 2/9/22 feels like a hinge moment. The games were tighter. The takes were hotter. The confidence was unmatched. It was chaotic but pointed. Silly but sharp. The kind of episode that made you feel like you were in on something.Dust it off. Revisit it.Classic Insuphishient. If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Summer Tours Elastic
As Phish is on the clock to announce summer tour, Matt and Nick are here to help you keep your Sanity, even if it never came your way. It’s that time of year where the rumors start swirling, the refresh button gets worn down, and every cryptic social media post feels like a clue. The passage of time? We are feeling it. Hard.Today on Insuphishient, Nick finally gives it to Matt. Calm down. It’s the triumphant return of Real Show / Fake Show. Pride. Ego. Historical accuracy hanging by a thread. Then we dig into a fan survey on the “State of Phish.” The numbers are in. The takes are spicy. Nick is not impressed.Hey, if you listen to us, thank you. Much respect. We love Phish and We love the people who love Phish. PHISH!Try and have a great day. BUT remember, if they don’t announce SUMMER tour this week…NO TOUR FOR YOU.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

At least Trey Is Happy: VOL 3
Matt and Nick did something this week that should probably be illegal. They correctly predicted the Super Bowl outcome. The exact score. Not vibes. Not close. Dead on. Like for real for real. Unclear how. Unclear why. Deeply unsettling how accurate they were.Meanwhile, somehow just as shocking, there are still no summer tour dates. It’s 2/9. We are adults. We have jobs. We have calendars. We have people to coordinate with. And yet here we are, completely in the dark.So the protest continues. If the future won’t reveal itself, Matt and Nick are heading backward. Way backward. Summer tour openers from another era. It’s feeling very 1996 in here and honestly that might be the safest place to be right now.Tune in. Strap up.Let’s ride.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

(The right audio this time..) Oh where (oh ware) could my Summer Tour be...?
Let try this again shall we... (Nick says sorry)Not for nothing, but it’s the sixth of February and none of us have any idea if Phish is coming anywhere near us this summer. No dates. No cities. No poorly cropped poster to analyze. Just vibes and calendar anxiety. So Matt and Nick are not taking this lying down. Well, technically they are sitting down, but they are digging in anyway. Today’s focus is summer tour openers. The good ones. The weird ones. The ones that quietly tell you exactly what kind of tour you’re about to get if you know how to listen. Also, the Jazz Mandolin Project played Boston last night and that deserves its own space. We will absolutely talk about that on Monday.Until then, stay warm. Stay patient.Soup Can?!!?If you are new always listen to the latest show first! If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

The fourth of never...
Is it odd that we still don’t know when or where Phish is playing this summer? Maybe. But this is that perfect stretch of the new year where anything feels possible and the summer tour announcement could drop at any second. Will they play near you? Will they play near me? Will they ever play sanity again? Hard to say. Only time will tell. Or Trey. If we could just get him to return our calls. So today on Insuphishient we start a brand new game. When will it end? Spoiler alert. You already have all the clues. If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Mexico; No Mas
Hate it or love it, everything eventually comes to an end. And as Phish played one song, they jammed another. As any good detective knows, the jam never lies. That was the final hurrah.Matt says he would never go. Nick says he would gladly be your plus one. Trey supposedly said, “Whatever you do, take care of your shoes.” Who knows if any of that is true. Truth is slippery down there.Either way, Mexico 2026 is officially in the books. The bags are unpacked. The wristbands are coming off. And now there’s a long, long stretch of calendar standing between you and Sphere. Thank the gods of rock you’ve got Nick and Matt to help fill the gap, keep the feeling alive, and say the quiet parts out loud.Let’s rock.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Mix'in in Mexico
Phish has the first two shows of 2026 in the books and right out of the gate things are already bending. Each night brought a debut. One night slipped in a little bust out just to keep everyone honest. The waves are there. You can feel them and hear them. They’re showing up in the playing, in the pacing, the lyrics, the Song titles, in the way things are connecting across nights. The turtle in the clouds, on the other hand, is nowhere to be found. Make of that what you will.Matt and Nick take the only approach that makes sense. Pick a song from night one or night 2 in each spot it was played. Mix and Match in Mex.... So the question is already on the table. Is this the best Mexico run Phish has ever had. Tune in and then you tell us.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

The Phish will Come out, Tomorrow
Matt and Nick are in Mexico, sitting on a beach, recording a podcast about Phish being in Mexico. Which means this episode is happening inside itself. No filter. No distance. Just sand, sun, and two guys trying to describe a place while actively living in it.There’s a James Taylor calm to the whole thing. That “nobody’s in a rush, everybody knows why they’re here” feeling. The days blur together. The nights stretch out. The ocean keeps time better than any watch. Phish is nearby doing Phish things, and Insuphishient is doing exactly what it’s always done. Talking it through. Letting it breathe. Not trying to control it.This one isn’t about analysis or hot takes. It’s about location, headspace, and that strange comfort that shows up when the music and the setting line up just right. A podcast as a postcard. From Mexico. About Mexico. While you’re somewhere else wishing you were here.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Bavid Dowie
Today on Insuphishient we’re heading back to May 1992. Boston. A younger world. Smaller rooms. Bigger hair. Same mission. It’s a little Space Oddity, a little more “ground control" Little less "major jam,” as Matt and Nick float through a time capsule show with wide eyes and zero oxygen. The takes are coming in from orbit, the nostalgia is fully pressurized, and somewhere in the distance you can hear the city humming like it knows what’s about to happen. So strap in, Pham. This one is a transmission from the past, beamed straight into your ears from Boston in May.Tune in. We are cleared for liftoff. If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

With or Without (Marshmallows)
I believe in miracles… because somehow we ended up back at 7/18/2017.Today on Insuphishient we’re revisiting a night that had that unmistakable glow. (Where you from)The kind of show that walks in the room like it already knows it’s not an NPC. Matt was there (For once) and Nick (watched it from home (as usual)) But they break it down the only way they can, with confidence, and style, and just enough facts to keep it dangerous.You. Yes you. Stand still You sexy thing.Tune in and feel the love.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

ohh ooh ooohhh Mexico
Warm sun. Cold drinks. Same old chairs.Phish is headed back to Mexico and the countdown is officially on. and Matt and Nick are Jealous....In two weeks we’ll be back in that perfect blur where the days move slow, the nights move fast, and the only real plan is to follow the music. It’s that “Mexico” feeling. You can almost hear it already. Something about a little peace, a little escape, and a whole lot of sand in places it shouldn’t be.New shows in two weeks.Pack light. Bring your patience. And get ready to disappear for a few nights.INSUPHISHIENT is coming with you (in spirit). If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

The little Return of Big Money Friday
Big Money Friday is back and the boys are doing what they do best, taking something simple and turning it dumb. It's Name DAY. Band names. Member names. Sandwich names. Nothing is safe. Matt is firing off options like he’s running a focus group, Nick is overconfidently declaring winners after hearing them once, and somehow every idea gets worse and better at the exact same time. This is chaotic, yet decisive, and deeply (un?)Serious in the way only Insuphishient can pull off. This episode is pure type 2. A little ridiculous (Thanks Matt!). A little genius (I mean Nick is in it). The kind of conversation that starts as a joke and ends with you accidentally believing one of these names should be trademarked immediately(True). Tune in for the madness, stay for the ChatGPT, and prepare to walk away calling your lunch something illegal. It’s Friday. It's BIG (That's what he said). It's MONEY!!!!Also Cheese has been recalled... DONT EAT THE RAMANO! (Wait that's an amazing band name!)If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Insuphishient Vol. 11 1/14/26
Insuphishient is a podcast by two American podcast hosts, Matt and Nick, which was recorded live, both in spirit and actually, somewhere between text messages and microphones on a random weekday in January 2026.This stretch of Insuphishient will always be remembered by listeners as the loose era, during which the show deemphasized its more technical segments and structured games in favor of more ambient conversation, groove based takes, and extended space improvisations. Some of this was predicated on the show’s transition from a tightly packed bit driven podcast, then to flowing segments, and finally to something closer to arena level wandering, which required a shift in approach and overall sound. This episode was instantly a host and listener favorite, and versions of it had been discussed long before the current iteration of the show was fully conceived.Among listeners, the episode is already being considered one of the strongest in the show’s history. Within the Insuphishient community, it is quietly being talked about as a top tier entry when stacked against the hundreds of conversations Matt and Nick have recorded over the years.Bonus moments include a few extended tangents not originally part of the main thread, recorded elsewhere in time, featuring a long wandering section that goes on far longer than expected and rewards anyone who sticks around to the end.No wait, that was Live Phish Vol 11. That's is what todays show is about! If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Bob-in & Weir-in
Over the weekend a great musician passed and the world is quieter because of it. The rooms feel a little emptier. The notes hang a little longer. We are all, without question, a little worse off.So Matt and Nick show up. Not to fix it. Not to explain it. Just to sit with it for a while and help say goodbye the only way they know how. Talking it out. Letting the thoughts drift in. Letting the music do what it has always done for people who care too much. This episode is reflective without being heavy. A reminder that the people who make the soundtrack to our lives never really leave, even when they do. Their fingerprints stay on everything. On the way we listen. On the way we gather. On the way we feel less alone in a room full of strangers.Matt and Nick are here to help say goodbye. And maybe, without trying, help remind us why this stuff matters in the first place. If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

No more MSG
Well folks, 2025 is officially closed and somehow everyone got what they wanted. Nick definitely did. A debut. Finally. While Nick was "Cream"ing his jeans, Matt slipped effortlessly back into his signature role as Baby New Year. "Waaah. Waaah."All jokes aside, MSG has seen a lot over the years. Legendary runs. Historic moments. Wild experiments. This one lands as the best album of shows. Front to back. No skips. It is going to take a while to unpack everything that happened, but for now we offer the immediate hot takes from two guys who are not qualified to operate the McFlurry machine at McDonalds.Happy New Year everyone.Thank you Trey.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

Cooking with MSG
Locked in. Loaded up. The second night of the 2025 New Years run is in the books and Nick and Matt are here to talk about it.Trey looked healthier. Mike wore a vest. Fish showed up in a dress. Page kept his sleeves rolled all the way down again. As 2025 starts to close here is what we know. Not counting Big Cypress, the highest rated Phish show ever happened this July at SPAC. No shock there. Zero Phish debuts. Shocking. Finally, As you get ready for tonight take a second. Be grateful. Feel blessed. You are loved. If this year taught us (Insuphishient) anything it is that Trey has made you a community, a home.Thank you Trey.On to 2026.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

You down with MSG?
Yeah you know me.But seriously yes. Yes I am. In the food flavoring world and in the Square Garden variety. Same heat. Different kitchens.Night one is in the books, and night two. Whatever. Time is a flat circle at MSG and we are only allowed to talk about one show at a time. Sorry, we do not make the rules. So here is what you actually want to know. Was it a good show? Was it a great show? Did Page roll up his sleeves??Tune in and find out.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

We are on to New Years kids.
It is December 26 and the New Years engine is already running.I could be wrong but I swear this is how it goes. Phish wakes up, meets at MSG, and the whole city clicks into that special frequency. Trey is quietly building the gag. Mike is already in the zone. Fish is steering the ship with a grin. Page is turning normal air into electricity. Four friends, one room, one mission. New Years mode. And that is exactly where Insuphishient lives today. This episode is a little peek behind the curtain. Not a lecture. Not a recap. More like you are standing in the hallway while the band warms up and the building starts breathing. We have had some heaters over the years, but if you want the feeling that the run is about to begin, this is the one.Holiday blues? We have a cure. The Blues. Put on some Caltrain and let it carry you out of your own head. Dude is the mack.Turn it up. Tap in.Let’s go.chaoIf you are new always listen to the latest show first!

A Very Special Christmas Podcast
To be completely honest I did not actually listen to this episode before writing this, so I have no idea what those two idiots Nick and Matt recorded today. In classic Insuphishient fashion they sent it to me at 11:42 PM on Christmas Eve. Literally as I was getting into bed. So you know what. Forget those guys. I hope you the listener have a very merry Christmas. Matt and Nick can absolutely eat it.That said, Trey, Mike, Fish and Page, Happy Holidays. Thank you for everything you have given us over the years and especially this year. And especially S.P.A.C. That was awesome.Anyway I am assuming this episode is about homemade eggnog or something equally ridiculous.Merry Christmas to all and to all a.... Great New Years Run.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!

4 days till new Phish Vol: 2025
Ladies and gentlemen yes Insuphishient is back and yes it somehow feels better than ever. Possibly because today they barely talk about Phish at all. It is the holiday season. The air is thick. Schedules are broken. Brains are full. A lot is going on and somehow all of it makes its way into the room.Matt and Nick wander through seasonal chaos, life updates, sideways thoughts, and the general hum of December before eventually remembering there is a band involved. When they do get there it lands. Calm. Loose. Surprisingly right on time. The kind of episode that sneaks up on you and ends up being exactly what you needed. It is warm. It is messy. It is Insuphishient.Happy holidays.See you soon.If you are new always listen to the latest show first!
