Into The Curve

My name is Dave Burnett. I’m the voice behind the stories you hear on the site. I launched this site in the hopes that I might reach just one person who is looking for some inspiration the same way I was. I started reading inspirational books myself as a part of a new morning routine in the summer of 2016. This was the start of the journey to reinvent myself.I don’t know about you, but I’ve got problems. One of those problems is there is too much negativity in my day. The news. The commute. The everyday battle to get, and stay, ahead. So I implemented a new routine with the help of some great people. It helps me get my day started off right. Here it is:I wake up, swing my legs so my feet touch the floor, and spend 1 minute thinking about my purpose for the day. It doesn’t have to be anything big or noble, just a simple “Why am I getting out of bed at this ungodly hour?”Then I get up, walk to a quiet place, and meditate for 10 minutes. This is a period of reflection on what I’m
