‘Where future value lies’ - Antony Barker
Antony is Director of Pensions at Santander UK where he is responsible for the assets and liabilities of the bank's £10bn pension arrangements, as well as other aspects of the bank's balance sheet and enterprise wide risk management. With a degree in Banking & Finance, Antony trained as an actuary with Hewitt, Bacon & Woodrow and Mercer. Antony was the actuarial profession's Principal Examiner in investments and co-authored the profession's official responses to public consultations on the Myners and Sandler reviews of investment governance.
